I'm the one who hasn't updated my technology in 7+ years. I have a 2019 computer, a 2019 iPhone, and I'm basically happy with everything. The most I'll wait for is the iPhone 18 Pro Max to upgrade to the top of the line for a reasonable price.

In case of data package, when you are in a contract and threaten to leave, they ask you to pay hundreds of £ first in order to pay the remaining contract price. Basically, you're cooked if you are in a contract.
