Stress is a biological superpower that helped your ancestors outrun predators, fight off enemies, and survive extreme situations. In the past, it helped us survive, but today, it’s quietly damaging millions of lives.
What exactly is stress, how did it evolve, and is it even possible to use it in a healthy way?

So how do I "remove the stressor" when my stress is about how my life was utterly destroyed because a drunk driver killed my wife? I had a great life before that…

I was a successful entrepreneur, I had a beautiful wife who loved me and was my everything, we were planning to start trying when she got back from a trip, she was pondering whether she wanted to do a "dirty thirty," whatever that is…But then she was killed. 2000 miles from home. The driver was let off with barely a slap on the hand, and justice was denied me. The grief overcame me and broke my brain, so of course my business partner decided he should force me out of our company. He was eventually successful, and I was pushed out. I thought the guy was like a brother to me… guess I was wrong. Everything fell apart.

I've never had a lot of friends, and after my wife (who was my best friend) was killed, I was down to three friends. Then my "brother" betrayed me. Then it was two. Then another close friend ghosted me, as for what reason, I have literally no idea. That made it one friend. I was having some issues with alcohol consumption, but I got help, went to rehab, got out, and was immediately attacked by my last friend (who was my housemate) who then shunned me and asked me to move out. It was MY house. He was renting a room in MY house, and he asked me to leave. The truth is that he found that I had a (nearly full) bottle of vodka (after returning from rehab). For some reason, he thought I was going for total sobriety. That was never the plan; I wanted to control my drinking, and I accomplished that. He found that, attacked me for it (verbally) despite my point that I'd hardly drank any. He started shunning me at a time where I needed support more than ever. At this point, I don't drink often, and when I do, it's only a single drink.

Severe depression and anxiety. No friends. Dead wife. No justice. No career. No prospects.

How do I remove those stressors?

I believe cortisol's time horizon is a bit misrepresented in the story (but the second graph is spot on). My understanding is that while cortisol BEGINS its release during acute stress, it has a slower feedback loop, and only builds over adrenaline for chronic stress e.g. The initial spike in stress causes Urr's body to keep him awake through the night planning, sharpening weapons, and maintaining guard out of vigilance against further tiger attacks. i.e. it's not a 5 minute battle vs a 10 minute battle, it's 5 minutes acute stress vs hours/days of chronic stress.

Stress has become numbers, seek help and sort them out .
Never forget, when you survive stress, you become stronger ❤🌳🙏

That's the problem kurz, can you imagine someone with nothing and have to do these things like helplessly. That's what we can do nothing.

Stress is really scary. We have to make various efforts to get rid of stress. We have to find a way to relax and overcome stress by listening to music and playing with friends

Hello to the editor of vedio, i have a simple request: please keep the background music a little slow, ut feels so rusged that vedio itself looks very hectic and stressful.

Yea what if I rely on some of my stressors and am in love with the other one, I'm trying to handle them but it's really really hard and my mental health suffers :((

Wow, this really calmed me down, just so everybody knows, no matter how grimm the future seems, God has a way of sorting things out, no storm lasts forever, the sun will rise again!
