“You Should Be Terrified” — Why the S&P 500 Is On Shaky Ground

Tom Bilyeu | June 9, 2026

Welcome to the Tom Bilyeu Show Live.

The global landscape is shifting fast, from explosive media walkouts to dystopian internet trends. In this episode, we unpack Donald Trump storming off the set of Meet the Press over intense clashes regarding California’s primary election integrity. Is the system actually broken, or are we misinterpreting the voting data trends? Meanwhile, the financial sector is flashing massive warning signs as a third of the S&P 500 value trades at a dangerous 10x revenue multiplier—echoing the catastrophic dot-com crash of 2002. We also dive into the Supreme Court’s major 6-3 ruling on parental rights in education, Todd McFarlane’s blunt take on why creators need to stop panicking over AI efficiency, and the bizarre viral story of a man who tattooed his forehead for a crypto app bounty.

Drew, you hammered incentives and structural problems when it suited other topics, but here you wave away CA's no-ID rules, illegal-to-ask policies, loose signatures, and ballot harvesting on Skid Row as 'just how it works' + Pratt's weakness. Tom has consistently called for verifiable integrity (audits, safeguards) precisely because incentives create risks in one-party mail-heavy systems, without leaping to 'proven fraud.' Your personal anecdotal story ignores the 85% mail reality. This feels like defensive special pleading, not critical thought. Disappointing double standard. Tom, your solo takes cut deeper, reconsider if co-hosting with someone this quick to dismiss election concerns adds value to the show…

01:11:15 the romans had a law exam question.
Who is at fault (there was never an actual answer to the question)
A ball gets kicked into the barber and breaks a vase; who is at fault ?
The barber ? The slave who kicked ? The owner of the slave ? The city planner that placed a field for sports besides commercial businesses… ?

01:11:15 algoritmic news feed has destroyed humans ability to look at a different perspective.
George floyd died of an overdose, George floyd died of being suffocated by having a knee on his chest. Both are true

01:02:25 I want to give a counterpoint, when mussilini talked to gramshy after hours mussi said 'but you are hypocritical, you are doing the sane as them for what reason ?'
Grasmy 'but I am not hypocritical, because my cause is just'
That is the 3rd option mainly on the left and some on the religious right so yes she can still be crooked but just a zealot

No way Trump believes his bullshit. It’s just theater and public image / narcissism he’s operating on. Not all that BS you puked 🤮 out . I think that is just what makes YOU feel more comfortable thinking about Trump. lol.

Tom … You said here in this video that mentally ill folks shouldn’t vote. Do you think Trump isn’t mentally ill in some way ? Man you’re always so empathetic to rich conservatives.Trump is objectively an active traitor. Prove me wrong.

1:44:49 Hey it’s just occurs to me at this point in time where that guy was talking about the efficiencies and you can still draw by hand if you want. You know the government spends a lot of money, what if we were so smart that we spent some money in each new technological error to make it worthwhile for some Alzheimer’s to pass that knowledge down to their kids into their kids just because it has a value! Things like the way the Amish kept certain things in place it’s stunning! That would be a smart society in my opinion

Regarding frame of reference. It is not always true at all, that the other guy is seeing the exact same footage as you. I’ve made many careful examinations of this “archetype of mainstream TV.” and in that particular form, they curate heavily. I have literally witnessed a gaggle of my family, literally believing that which isn’t true and it’s because their frame of reference is displaced and presented in such a way as to carry water for the Forces that be. Intense I watch so many people maintain the Dement quite literally. All Trump bad. All bad Trump anyone who says otherwise bad. And then all the standard nervousness and discomfort and unwillingness and unnaturally programmed behavior. Really think you need to miss those particular words a little bit differently. They are not seeing the exact same footage issue, to 1° or another…

8:20 “we have things that definitely warrant looking at”. Tom is a complete joke. The right has hundreds of billions of dollars and all the means to investigate voter fraud…and they have. Cato institute found noncitizen vote virtually nonexistent.

    sus is sus.
Speaking of which, getting sponsored by gambling cons is becoming a huge turnoff/sus moment for me when choosing whether to believe/trust/follow anyone online. Prediction market my F-ing ass. They have algorithms predicting how to best psych people into losing (sorry, I meant "engaging") more, while allowing those with insider info to prosper — BTW, directly counter to ol' Tom's narratives of calling BS on forces that ensnare the "reg'lar Joe/Joan" and even their kids…
Otherwise, keep up the good work, boys!

The voter fraud thing is Drew's straw that broke our camel's back.

Also, Tom: asking for proof of the 2020 election fraud is like asking for proof that God doesn't exist. The whole point is that it's undetectable by design. You seem to be able to draw the line between (illegal to be) asking for ID and obvious fraud – but not able to draw this line?

Tom Bilyeu talks about how there should be election audits, so why doesn't Tom Bileu put his money toward cleaning up the criminals in politics in California ?????? Why does Tom B throw rocks at Trump because he KNOWS california is corrupt, instead of Proving that California isn't corrupt by getting active in politics ? I'll tell you why. It's waaaaaayyyyy easier to criticize people who are doing something, rathern than getting involved and doing something yourself. Get off the sidelines Tom Bilyeu, get into the trenches and fix your broken state of California.

California is not a Democracy. This isn't hyperbole, seriously, elections do not determine who is elected in California. In an election, the voters determine who wins. In California, the ballot harvestors decide who wins. The harvestors decide who gets the votes, and they decide the number of votes. All they need is ballots, and they are mailed everywhere. They can decide to only harvest ballots from Democrats, and they know where Democrats live. They can simply request the ballots and the harvestors complete and sign them because there is no ID required or signature verification. They claim the signature has to be a 40% match, but that's hilariously funny, because 40% is not a match. Also, the harvestors can just trash the votes they don't want, because no one is monitoring them. Also, the harvestors can mass collect ballots from people who would have never voted otherwise, at nursing homes, homeless, etc.

California corrupt elections mechanism is clearly in play here, and How Tom Bilyeu can't see this clearly happen based on the results belies the saavy nature of Toms typical analysis.

They would go down but USA cannot be brutal. Wars back in ww1 and 2 were way more brutal than today. Today wars are baby compared to back that's why wars cannot achieve the objectives like they could in the old days.

What Russia does in Ukraine is closer to wars in the old days but still far from the old days. Russia did target civilian structures sometimes..

Late stage capitalism is when big capital gets together with the government or whatever he said? Well just look at what is happening with Reckless Ben and tell me that doesn’t fit the bill. It passive aggressive late stage capitalism where you can’t even sue either because it’s too expensive, or they have you jailed/swatted. No need to have the military get involved when the police will do just fine…

When you say there’s more important issues 1:13 and you look at the basic data. California has the largest populous and you can vote with a gym card. I think this is one of the most important issues is our personal voting rights to play this off as not important for our future constitution the system is rigged. I live in Oregon and I’m dealing with the same issue. It’s all mail in ballot voting and if you look at the demographics, there is definitely fraud happening the largest male and voting areas are male and ballots, and it always leans Democratic. We have to create a system that we can all believe in otherwise we’re living in a scenario where our future can change upon political framework that is not in favor of the people, I’m not sure why you’re doing this Drew you don’t seem to make it seem like it’s a big deal. There’s too much room for error with mail and voting. And if we can’t validate it as you look deeper into the subject of what the governor did four days before the voting, we can’t federally check the votes for that state and that’s an issue when you can’t double check the votes It is not a democracy.

Come on Drew!! Israel is the aggressor? It’s not antisemitic to criticize Israel – it’s antisemitic to pretend Israel is fighting Hezbollah for shits and giggles – even the president of Lebanon has told Iran to back off & take Hezbollah out of their country. Come on – get a little less one sided maybe.

Japan conditionally surrendered before the second bomb. Also civilian targets were chosen. Not a great leader you had in that moment- only might. And arguably the bernie vs hillary thing played out back then with dewey vs truman.

The only reason we have nuclear war hanging over head for all these decades are American reasons, because of American actions and poor decision making.

Also america only entered wwii when they were forced into it- before that they had lots of nazi sympathizers and supporters both politically and financially and nazi identifying citizens. AND Things could have been different. But america chose the self serving and immoral path- then claimed victory was all on their shoulders.

And yeah japanese were hardcore fighters who would do suicidal attacks even in some cases running at enemies unarmed.

So you "all" don't ever think that it's intentional for Drew to voice apposing views? To provide a laymen's perspective? Tom does immense research and has almost 30 years lived experience over Drew. I enjoy his expressions as I know that his takes are not his alone. The inability to respect his commentary as just that says a lot.

I live in Cal. I go to a Voting Location. I’m asked for my ID and the bar code is scanned. Then my Election mail is scanned for THAT barcode, linking me. They also note that I have surrendered my Mail-in ballot. Where the hell is everyone “running from precinct to precinct” to vote as many times as possible?

Man o man…i can’t grasp this idea that u don’t need an id or signature to vote, yet if u want a job u need an id if u want to travel to another country u need an id…if u want to sign up for the military u need to b 18 and show proof of age…and if u like me and bring this up im the one that people think is crazy. Good luck…can’t wait to c the math on how u pay for everything when everyone is in line with their hand out.
