Thanks for recommendations. A big plus for me is that I loved Kate and Allie and had no clue is was on the Roku Charles channel. Can’t wait to binge my favorite episodes.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I watch as many Halloween shows and movies from my childhood. The “Facts of Life” episode is hilarious. The “Jem” Halloween episode is pretty awesome and also free on YouTube.

I had a wicked flu while watching The Facts of Life Halloween episode aired, I was in and out of fever dreams sweating on the couch watching it, and CRIED, yes, it’s true, when Blair cackled “And then there was Tutti!” 😂

I thought of that show Sister Kate not too long ago and though that was one of the stranger TV shows ever (not as strange as Small Wonder, but certainly strange). And this was the one and only episode I remembered seeing, probably because of the memorable hiding of the disability

Ah, Halloween in the 80s. Was there ever a better decade for…well…everything? As a fellow Gen-X-er, I wholeheatedly endorse this channel and this video. Great memories.

I don’t understand the issue with Mr Belvedere. It’s not on any streaming platform but most is on here I think. And they don’t even have the last two seasons on dvd for whatever reason. It’s like it’s being held hostage by someone…

Natalie of My So-Called Gen-X life, I never saw “The Charmings”, the man who is playing the Father is Christopher Rich who will play Dr. Brock Hart in the show “Reba”. Sometimes the Daily Motion app has ‘80s shows and movies. I think the ‘80s TV shows and movies are of not the best quality is because people transferred their very old videotapes onto DVDs and then onto thumb drives and then onto YouTube. It doesn’t bother me.

I'm a sucker for 80s sitcoms (and theme songs) and love, love, love the holiday themed ones. That Facts of Life episode (along with Roseanne) is one of my favorites!

I remember what I was doing the day the pilot of ALF dropped I was on a walk with my mom and ended up missing the pilot episode 😆. I haven't thought about that in years. I know it wasn't the Halloween episode I remember but it's still a good memory even though I didn't catch it.

I believe You Can't Do That on Television did a 🎃 themed episode?

Anotherbl 🎃 thing us X/Xennial kids did was costume days in school; whether it was for Halloween or a day of school spirit week.

I was born in the late 80s, and I'm aware that makes me a millennial, but I have always felt I have more in common with Gen X and Xennials. I was an only child in a somewhat rural area of the South. I am the youngest of my cousin group by 8 years. For the first three years of my life, all of my neighbors were elderly, and my mom was a SAHM, so the only time I was around other kids my age was once a week at church. I was raised listening to, and still love 70s and 80s music. My favorite shows growing up were re-runs of "Emergency!", "Hawaii 5-0", "The Facts of Life" and "Rescue 911". I have vague memories (confirmed by my mom) of her and my grandma taking me to one of the last Woolworth's and eating at the lunch counter when we visited my grandma when I was about 5ish. My mom told me she wanted to give me the chance to have that experience while I could. I remember learning how to use the rotary phone my grandparents still had in case I ever had to use it in an emergency. My mom had me dial our home number 2-3 times until she was sure I had the hang of it. When I started school, "latchkey" kids were still common. I remember my elementary school giving out necklaces with key holders to some of the kids! If you were to see me when I'm not at work, you'd likely see me dressed like a total hippie: bellbottoms, tie dye, peace sign earrings with a weed leaf necklace and various American Indian made beaded bracelets and moccasins. However, my husband was raised COMPLETELY differently than I was. Even though he is only 1 year younger than me, it's like we are from 2 different generations at times. He doesn't understand my pop culture references from the 70s and 80s, and I don't always understand his as I wasn't allowed to watch many of the shows he was as a kid.
