Lets see if it happens, seems like we not doing nothing up there, can’t even disclose shit, everything is a theory or conspiracy, if we not doing shit up there bring everything down!!

governments can spend a fortune on space stations but can't provide my client, who is registered blind, with a home of his own; instead has to rely on a very expensive landlord who really doesn't want to do too much. Even getting them to put a little paint on the walls is a task on its own. Completed by carer

We use tonnes as a weight, we don't stop at Kgs like the US stops at lbs, the space station weighs 430 tonnes, any chance you can aim the big bit at the White House, and human exploration in space isn't finished, did you forget about the Chinese model?

You would think they would figure out a way to rocket it back up into orbit before they let it burn up falling down into the atmosphere

I am thinking it will be lost forever…… If the tech to get us to the moon was "LOST"….. Stands to reason this will be "LOST" also. 😂

Such a waste to let it burn… they should just readjust it to prolong its life enough to repurpose it and move it to the moon and convert it to a moon base.

Well since we wouldn't be able to save and bring it back in for say a piece of museum art they should have crashed it on the moon so we can have something to show for our existence in the future, at least somewhere else other than Earth I mean I know there's a couple things up there on the moon already but I mean that would have been cool I think
@BerettaBoom
September 19, 2026 at 7:49 am
In my opinion. We should leave it up there, power everything down and let her sail and be a savior, a beacon in case some shit goes down, there will be – though maybe at the time an old dinosaur – to fall back onto, destroying history isn’t smart when history could be preserved as a fallback.

This video is absolutely captivating and deeply insightful! It’s mind-blowing to think that the ISS, humanity's greatest symbol of global cooperation, will soon reach its end [00:10]. The explanation at [17:50] about why raising its orbit is too risky due to space debris was super clear and fascinating. Thank you to the creator for delivering such high-quality scientific content! So if it's real and cost so much and Is such piece of history why wouldn't we persevere it and put it in a museum…make this make sense

Why waste the station
Why not tidal lock it and tether a sky lift to it
Maybe some other way of keeping it in Space

September 19, 2026 at 7:49 am
Why would we destroy it? It seems like such an expensive hassle to get it up there. Why not just keep it in orbit? It’s not like we have another one ready yet.

You're not going to SEE the deorbiting of ISS unless you're positioned near the target in the South Pacific.
Well, not directly, anyway. I'm sure someone will have a live feed going.

@PhillipFogle-f1b

I think this is the biggest most stupid, decision that Nasa has made since discontinuing the space shuttle program. There's absolutely no reason for this. Huge waste of a human achievement. Nothing justifies it.
