    Thank you for apologies. I just started to get over my fear of butterfly's, thank you for doing this too.
    I also prefer moths and skippers, I actually call skippers moths because I kept one for the rest of her life before pinning, she layed eggs with me which I returned to the "prairie" as a promise to her.

    Video suggestion: Mosquitos

    I identify with your love of animals man. There’s none I hate, there’s just one exception to this though. Mosquitos. I HATE them. It’s personal because I’m tasty to them and they bite the hell out of me.

    It’s philosophical too though, I hate them because I also don’t see their purpose in nature beyond just sucking blood, spreading disease and reproducing so they can repeat the former two. As far as I know, everything that eats them has ample alternative food sources.

    Would exterminating them ruin any ecosystems? Are there any keystone species that rely on mosquitos as a food sources or are they just the bane of our existence as a purpose?

    I’d love to see a video from you about them.

    I still love them, I think they're very cool and pretty, and that people should always work towards conquering their irrational phobias. I prefer moths though, as they lie flat like that naturally.

    I’ve always been afraid of butterflies to the point that I had nightmares about them swarming and eating me alive

    But now I look up pretty butterflies to use for art inspiration. I HATE BUTTERFLIES AND THE INTRO TO THIS VIDEO SCARED ME SO BAD

    Hmmm, no. Butterflies are not beautiful by accident. It's the way the world works that the more beautiful something is, the more it is inherently ephemeral. You can't say that there's a world-wide many century long tradition of seeing the butterfly as a symbol and archetype of rebirth, then discard the fact that they are just as lovely as they are fragile. I used to be an atheist but holy shit I can't fucking stand atheists, and Hank Green and that gross ass family have all the incentive they need to get you to hate your life, hate spirituality, and cede all power of critical thinking to someone else who doesn't give a single fuck about you.
