Why Trump Supporters Are at a Breaking Point

More Perfect Union | March 28, 2026

Nearly 5 million people in Florida get their health care through Obamacare plans.

But the cost of these plans is set to skyrocket in 2026 when federal subsidies expire.

We spoke with Republican voters — including a resident who was quoted a 291% increase in her premium.

Trump supporters betrayed fellow Americans based on the lies they alone chose to believe. Real Americans and the truth doesn’t give a F what their opinions and feelings are at this point. They got exactly what they voted for.

Republicans who blamed Democrats because they watched only Fox News. They didn’t use any critical thinking before making decisions to vote.

1 year ago, homeless people are not our responsibility. Now, after what I went through, healthcare is a basic human right…
Where should the money come? We should cut the clean energy projects!
Meanwhile in Maine, "why cutting something that was boosting the economy, just because it was a legacy from your predecessor?"

These people are just selfish and have little to none compassion for others in miserable situations, till it's their turn. I still feel bad for them though.

The GOP has successfully inoculated ~1/3 of the adults in this country from information/facts through a multi-decade campaign that convinced them that all journalists and scientific institutions are inherently "leftist". This started when science started departing from the bible. So, all the attempts to inform these people what the ramifications of electing a greedy, corrupt, no-nothing narcissist would be fell on deaf ears. Now they are surprised at what is happening and even more surprised to find out that half the country was trying to warn them.

Trump doesn’t care about his voters, he cares about what billionaires can give him to fuck them over. This has happened again and again, first with agency’s like FEMA and agency’s like the FCC and FTC, which they should be protecting consumer rights. They aren’t anymore. And then trump cut billions in healthcare funding, which fucks everyone decides the ultra wealthy, who profit on all us suffering.
