Yup. Good info as usual. I have gone to embracing hunger by eating once a day and drinking a lot of water. It’s seems to be the way my body can maintain a high energy level. – plus I sleep good at night. 6 hours seems to be enough for me. Any more than that, I feel sleepy all morning. And you are right!— exercise produces a more energetic feeling Don’t know how you got so smart but I appreciate you sharing your insights.

We were in Spain last year and it was no challenge to shop, tour, eat, mid afternoon. We saw lots of construction workers in one area having siestas, but that was it

I broke my phone, best thing I ever did. Freed me from the grasp of the fear mongers and the anxiety causing rage bait bs. The world is much simpler when you dont know or care what's going on. And it turns out; it affects my life about the same…..as in not at all. The only difference is I'm not stressed over some bs some idiot said or worrying about what ifs that will never come to pass. I think we should just fire the media in general.its clear their agenda is not to inform us, but rather to use fear and speculated outcomes to control us. Great video as always. Very smart for as young as you are…wise beyond your years some might say. 👍✌💯

Sleep is one of the most important things for humans (and most animals). I strive for a minimum of 9 hours and if I’m able to try for 10-11 hours of sleep daily. I usually get this 3 nights a week and only once a week get less than 6. I prioritize sleep over just about anything generally. I got trash sleep from the time I started school up until graduating college. Now I live my life around sleeping well and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
Why wake up tired just to do useless things? Would I rather watch an hour of pointless videos or sleep an extra hour? Sleep.
Granted this is also easy for me as I enjoy sleeping in my top 5 favorite activities

Love this videos! They are great, educationally! I do think they would be even better if the acronym in them would be "spelled out". Example: LHA=Lateral Hypothalamus Area and VMH=VentroMedial Hypothalamus.❤

If you’ve been wondering why you’re not feeling as strong, motivated, or sharp as you used to, Testosterone Rewired by David Brooks might just have the answers. The book focuses on the power of testosterone and how increasing it can seriously transform your health and mindset. If you’re tired of feeling drained or out of balance, this book offers some solid advice on how to get back to your peak

I was a bit confused by the e-reader / book comparison. Because the light I need to read my books is much brighter than the brightness I set my kindle to. On my setting my lux meter app stays at 0 even if i move the kindle close to the camera (the app is probably very inaccurate, but the lux-value should still be very low). Then I looked into the study and found this: "The LE-eBook was set to the maximum brightness setting." Which for me feels like looking into the sun.
So don't chuck your e-readers, just use them on a (very) low brightness setting.

I sleep few hours because a sleeping disorder I have. I go right into rem sleep with the side effect of sleep paralysis
If I meditate long enough my body can “sleep” while I’m fully aware and it feels very interesting
Like a warm magnet muscle disconnecter slowly spreading from the core outward. When you feel all warm and cozy you realize… I Kant move!! Then panic
Rapid eye flinching helps to awaken from sleep paralysis

I feel that part of why we have transitioned away from the Mediterranean system of being able to take a rest in the middle of the day is in part due to the difference in the amount of average sunlight that we experience in more northern latitudes relative to Mediterranean and Equatorial regions (which were largely colonized by Mediterranean nations), where these regions and cultures are less pressured to maximize productivity in all hours of the day simply because they had more day to use compared to regions further from the equator that experience shorter days with more extreme winter cycles, demanding a higher degree of productivity during the warm daylight hours.

These inclinations of maximizing productivity during daylight hours have become ingrained in the nations that now hold cultural dominance over the world and have become ingrained in many of our societies, even with the advent of artificial lighting and climate control, and unfortunately since technology progresses faster than culture and culture progresses faster than evolution our bodies are still lagging behind by thousands of years of development of both and rather than recognizing how to use technology to adapt our culture to our biology we instead shame people for exhibiting biological rhythms by leveraging our culture against them.

I'm glad that the younger generations are starting to identify and popularize these talking points and I hope that in time we can begin to push our cultures into a more healthy and relaxed direction in the future rather than continuing the glorification of not just burning the candle at both ends, but throwing the whole candle shop in the fire all in the name of making other people richer.
