There's something almost mythological about how civilizations repeat the same psychological pattern — the overreach, the denial, the scapegoating, the collapse — across completely different cultures and centuries. Like the myth isn't a story about the past. It's a description of a loop we haven't broken yet.

Anyone else wish they had the time to emotionally regulate? I used to intellectualize my past and self, but currently, even though i wish i had time, i feel i have too little to unfortunately spend on myself…

Ik i am a nobody, but id like to share my experience through fellings, let me know if you identify yourself with this. Im not able to fall in love or create deep conections like everyone does, my mind doesnt let it happen, like a defense mechanism, its not like im anoying or anything like that, i do talk with a lot of people, but i just dont feel conected. It happened all my life, but know, i consciously decided to accept that im not able to. Since then, ive been being a lot colder and dry than i used to be.

After having made bad decisions, or rather not having made them at all, due to overthinking, I've decided that I no longer want to think about certain things.
It really is a curse to overthink doing something and then get scared and not do it.

I over-intellectualize to trick myself into thinking I am smart because I pretend to use analysis as an unhealthy coping mechanism for being emotional unintelligent rather than actually being intelligent which is worrisome because if I stop coping I will realize I lack both the emotional and analytical intelligence that I so dearly try to emulate. We are not the same (or we might be more similar than we know).

I must intellectualise to understand and then I will know what I did right, what I did wrong, who to value and who to avoid and how to do better in the future. I must understand mine and other people's thinking mechanisms to intercept, avoid and correct current and future problems.
I have never had to deal with a situation as complex as the one I'm currently in. It's painful, time consuming and debilitating. My experience of therapy was someone asking me how I felt about a certain traumatic childhood or adult experience – a totally useless question for an autistic when not allowed a day or two to think about it! I want to know how I got where I am so I can intercept and course correct my thoughts in the future. I need to know who is to blame and who is not to blame for Every. Single. Incident.

I got completely confused by the controversial statements of pop-psychology.
As a result, When angry – I do not let myself process the anger via music or journaling, because I consider those “unnatural/coping methods”

Opening yourself up to feeling is too risky. Yeah you get the good but you get the bad too. I chose shutting all my emotions off completely. It’s kind of like living inside a glass box. You still see and hear everything but you can’t touch. You’re safe but not really living. The pain of failure and loss was too much to bear so now I live like this but I know it’s wrong and now I don’t know what to do. I’m just so empty.

Manifest the Divine by Elena River made me realize how disconnected I was from myself. No wonder nothing was manifesting. After reading it, things actually started lining up. Small shifts, big impact. Highly recommend.

I was legit at my lowest when I found Manifest the Divine by Elena River. Couldn’t focus, kept doubting myself, everything felt stuck. This book gave me direction again. Not in a magical way, but in a grounded, real way. It changed my energy completely. Things have been flowing ever since❤

Manifest the Divine by Elena River showed me that manifesting isn’t about forcing outcomes. It’s about aligning your beliefs with your actions. When I started doing that, things actually moved. Feels good to feel hopeful again. Crazy book, def a must read❤

I used to laugh at manifestation videos because nothing ever worked for me. Manifest the Divine by Elena River humbled me real quick. It’s the first time I actually understood the science behind alignment. And now life feels lighter. More flow, less resistance.

There is a difference between being "Smart" and being "Smart"
One end is knowing a lot, having all knowledge, being a living storage device.
And the other is the ability to learn rapidly. Recognize patterns and intelligently put knowledge to use. To understand complex things in a clear way. To actually understand it.
