It’s not hard. United Healthcare has office buildings packed with people whose only job is to deny you the benefits you paid for. I drive by them every day. I had a United Healthcare policy once, it was the most worthless scrap of paper I’ve ever had. Back then you had to have “continuance in coverage.” If you lost your coverage you could be denied benefits when applying for new coverage. UHC had you if you needed continuance coverage. Money goes in-nothing comes out. Guess who got rid of that practice? That is also under attack by the republicans.

I remember when Obama care came about and most employers started scheduling people 32 hours a week to make sure they didn't count as fulltime. I also remember the marketplace with plans more expensive than previously offered private plans. I also remember the tax for not having the overpriced insurance.

Whenever someone talks about US social systems, especially healthcare, it always gets very obvious that the US is third-world country trying to masquerade as a civilized country.

As a chronically ill Swede, I can only shake my head in bewilderment that you are still using a system that is wildly more expensive and yet producing inferior results then "socialised healthcare"

Controversial? For something to be controversial people have to be disagreeing for it. I don't see a whole lot of people going "Hell yeah, I love United health care!"

Health insurance companies profit off of the death and suffering of the people they take money from. Plane and simple. There’s a reason why no other developed nation allows them to operate in their countries. They are psychopathic mass murderers. Free Luigi!!!!

people argue that UnitedHealth prioritizes profits over patients. They’ve faced lawsuits for denying coverage, and their cost-cutting measures often leave customers feeling shortchanged. It’s a massive company with a lot of power, and not everyone feels it’s used responsibly.
