Five years later, a girl in the southern US hears an dude in Ireland answer a question from a guy in Wisconsin about a Pabst Blue Ribbon ref which was inspired by Blue Velvet which was a film done by David Lynch, with whom this southern girl is obsessed.
And just an hour before this post, this southern watched Caca Millis, where the dude in Ireland said that Blade Runner was used in his English studies class, yet another favorite film of this southern girl.

I was recently introduced to your channel and find it highly entertaining. I’ve been watching your episodes from oldest to newest. Your artwork makes me giggle. I’m from York, Pennsylvania, USA but I recognized your accent as Irish immediately. I too was wondering where you had come across the reference to Pabst Blue Ribbon when I noticed the can in your drawing! I thought for sure that such a beer hadn’t made its way to the Emerald Isle. 😅

Hatrix (basically Mushroomhead before they were Mushroomhead) had an instrumental song that used that same sample from Blue Velvet, and at the time I actually wasn't familiar with PBR either, but then it turned out everyone in the Akron OH metal scene pretty much drinks that exclusively. it's actually a pretty shit beer though.
