If you go to your local farmer, everything is cheaper than the gorocery store. Stop shopping at grocery stores. Grocery raise the price around $3-$5 after they get the food from the wholesalers. Just buy local from farmers.

Sure, I'd agree that social democracy is needed for nourishing people's well-being and lifting people up high enough to organize, form unions and co-ops. But I can't believe anyone who, with a straight face, says "oh, yeah, social democracy will be fine even in the year 2230 (given that we deal with the climate crisis)"
Social democracies aren't as resilient as "unfettered capitalisms". This is also the reason why the capitalists won't let SocDem in – it makes the capitalist economies naked. It shows people "welp, it's been fun, but, we should go back to multiplying the capital, so, get back to work ok??"
I'm not mad you aren't a socialist. It's just unsincere to claim "no system has been proven better". The US governments have tried really really hard to make it seem so. It's oversimplified and ignores how the capital has generally worked through the imperialist peak of the US.

If you can afford a $300 Million yacht, you can afford to pay your workers a working wage.
From 1978 to 2020, if minimum wage would have climb steadily, today minimum wage would be around $29.00usd/hr.
1978 is important because this was when electronic typewriter's, the microprocessor, and computers started entering the work force. The CEO's didn't want to pay a person the same wage for doing less.
