This is the problem with the media. Actually, there weren't many fancy jobs in the tech world.. There were way more horrible jobs in this industry. But media always focuses on the hyped side of it.

Try this shi… in Europe. I mean we have 12 hours shift work for sure and oncall time, but that paid extra and our lunchtime is sacred etc.. these things sound slavery with extra steps
