Why are Black people still Christian?
If God exists, why does he allow Black people to suffer the way that they do. For starters, Christianity has been used a brutal tool of oppression against Black folks for as long as this country has existed. Outside of the US, Christianity and the Bible motivated colonizers to commit some of the worst atrocities the planet has ever seen.
The track record of this religion is clear and it isn’t looking great. So why did Black people, when surveyed by the Pew Research Center, identify as Christians at nearly 80%? Significantly more than their non-Black peers.
That’s what I want to talk about in this video. I spoke to a Black woman pastor who sees herself represented in Jesus as well as a Black professor who identifies as atheist and sees no evidence of a God interested in the oppressed.” At the end, I wrestle with my own journey around faith. We Indians ( most of us ) rejected the cross worship but we adopted their. Education system. While blacks adopted the cross worship. But didn’t focus on the education part. From the colonisers. That’s the difference

Maybe if you didn't just want a connection to god for money and materialistic shit. Maybe if you didn't winge and hang on to the past. Maybe if you didn't class everyone else as racist and recognise your own faults and racism towards other. Maybe if you didn't blame everyone else for the things you haven't succeeded to do and realise its your own lack of effort and lack of doing. The only issue with Ms. Claudia’s stance is that we have to assume everything in the Bible is true. I would assume if you were God and planned to separate humans into heaven and hell, you would make it unquestionably true that you, your son, and your holy spirit existed beyond doubt. Then we could choose to serve or reject of true free will, knowledge, and faith.

Sadly no matter what your concept of God is , most will agree that no God hates! Unfortunately too many blacks still subscribe to the idea that the Democratic Party cares about them. The Party has kept blacks on the plantation far too long and have done this to keep power. That's the real truth. Politicians are the enemy. Every expedition to a country that saw slaves taken captive was either paid and endorsed by a King or a Monarch of some kind. Until all people stop buying the lie that politicians care stops, the destruction of Africa will continue.

I find it very strange that many people on YouTube that don’t believe in ANY God or ANY religion spend so much of time trying to convince other people not to believe in GOD. Why?! Just mind your business and go on with your life believing in whatever you want to believe in.
P.S. GOD doesn’t hate black people. I’m shocked you were somebody’s Pastor. Job was a righteous man in GODs eyes yet GOD allowed Satan to harm Job. Try reading the book of Job and other examples in the Bible that describe GODs chosen going through horrible times in their life. This is how, you know that these people do not read the Bible correctly. Explains why he's allowing things to happen. Not just free will remember. The tree is called the knowledge of good and evil. Every person that has repentance or try their best or ones that doesn't even know. God exists, but still try to be a humble and good for righteous person.

Religion is a tool that helps you deal with the biggest problem a human can ever face. Life. And once you rely on the tool that is religion, it is nearly impossible to remove that tool without removing a part of yourself. This isn't just about black people and Christianity. This is about all humans and all religions. All together.
We need systems that can help us exist without feeling existential dread or the chaos of life. That system was originally communities, but once we started gathering in larger and larger numbers, the "biological community limit" or whatever, just couldn't keep things together anymore, we had to rely on these external systems.

You are very biased.Recently Christians from a blossoming Lutheran church in Ethoopia that does a lot of wonderful social work for homeless children in the streets of the capital visited our small church in Denmark.They said they were very greatful for the Danish missionaries who came to their country and brought free schools, hospitals & Christianity etc.The fact is that colonizers who just wanted to exploit Africa and Africans mostly fought missionaries and wanted them gone!- As they were against missionaries educating the population and giving the Biblical teaching of our human equality before God!
I have known many missionaries who loved the people they lived amongst on and on simple living conditions and with great personal sacrifices! Versus e.g. UN workers on huge salaries! of whoom UN whistle blowers on YT have unveiled some UN workers in e.g. refugee camps are exploiting female refugees sexually.Unfortunately & outrageously The UN turns the blind eyes to such heinous crimes!

My mom is a Christian, but she also knows science, and she's conscious of a lot of things. But, like all of my family, they have prayed to this so-called all-powerful God thousands of times, and none of their prayers were answered. My mom just wishes he would bless her with a house or lots of money. One of my aunts is dying of cancer, and she is wondering why he hasn't healed or ended her suffering. All of their progress and decisions go to God. We have free will from God, but he has a set path for us anyway.
