So for our final episode of 2022 Erin and Alyssa are looking back at the most chaotic moments of the year to discuss what shocked us the most from Donald Trump getting raided to Ginny Thomas trying to overturn the election. And don’t forget the horrors of the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial. Which moment do you think was most chaotic?

    Did even watched Heard-Depp trial ? She was found guilty of abuse and defamation and now she has to pay 15 million dollars to Nr Depp. Don't know how many times she lied… you can hear recordnings of her veribal abuse and physical abuse.

    To me, listening to the recording of Amber Heard screaming her confession at Depp that she was the physical abuser but no one would ever believe him when she accused him of it. He won..okay. finally not chaos but THEN Feminists came out on her side ANYWAY. Set feminism back a decade. Chaos! I'm not a Depp fan nor am I on social media but I did watch the trial and AH is one chaotic B and she was the one who set up the PR machine. I do think the Megan Markle stuff is Sus.

    As for J.Lo changing her name, its more chaotic when you realise that his previous ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, ALSO legally changed her name to Jennifer Affleck when they married. 😆

    Last I heard about/from Britney was that she was getting married and wanted a baby, so LAWD, I hope that's what she's doing. Though I certainly do not blame her at all if she just wants to live the quiet life out of the spotlight. Considering she's been in the forefront of our minds for decades and extra in the spotlight during the Free Britney movement years, she's earned some peace, whatever form that takes for her.

    Love your show ladies and usually agree with 99% of what you say.
    You are wrong however, to speak about the Depp/Heard trial unless you've watched it. AH did in fact, do a great disservice to victims of narcissistic abuse by her poorly acted testimony alone. Bots or not, she showed her true colors all on her own.
    I truly hope you never have to experience it firsthand, but please don't insult those of us who have.

    How are you able to report on Ghislaine Maxwell without asking "why haven't the client lists been released?" It's great she got sentenced to jail for trafficking girls to…..no one? It's going to be both sides of the aisle….so….where the hell did your inquisitive nature go?

    Do USAans not know about the Maxwells? Ghislaine's dad embezzled his company's pension funds and just sued the crap out of everybody so it didn't come out until he died. Anybody marrying Ghislaine was well aware of the family he was marrying into

    33:53 – HYSTERIA! I LOVE this show… I'm a nanny who watches faithfully and I rarely disagree with you ladies… I know that you don't want to hear this… I wonder if you actually watched the Depp-Heard trial… I'm sure it's available to watch somewhere, if you want to even go there… But, I'll tell ya… I don't have TikTok – Besides this show, and mentions on the news occasionally – I WATCHED the trial itself, occasionally LIVE… About 1/4 of the way through, I found out my eldest sis, who has degrees in Political Science, Speech Communication and Feminist Studies, was ALSO watching the trial … We talked about it a couple of times a week and agreed on almost everything… Sorry, but this trial was NOT about "disinformation on the part of a misogynist…" It just wasn't. BOTH parties are sadly & clearly addicts – to pills, booze, coke, weed, ecstasy, and horrific behavior… Was it a toxic relationship, yes, between BOTH of them… But, as far as physical abuse and defamation of character go – the jurors made their decisions (as did I, my sister, and many others) based on testimony and the facts of the case… NOT social media bots… Sorry. And, by perpetuating that she was a "victim of social media" you're negating the work of many brilliant female attorneys, a female court reporter (stenographer), AND a female judge who ran the trial like a BOSS. They are BOTH deeply flawed humans… but, she lied repeatedly throughout their relationship AND on the stand. She was found guilty of abuse and defamation. His past attorney was found guilty of defamation. Periodt. Thanks, always, for a great show – Looking forward to more from HYSTERIA in 2023!

    Yeah 2022 was rough. Hypothetically Imagine being a subpar feminist podcast who was attached to an already failing media company, then went independent on their own channel to only find out without said media company they can barley get 3000 views a video. Ouch. Yeah 2022 was pretty rough for some hypothetically speaking.

    I usually wear a hat, but I'm largely bald so that's not really a choice, you kinda have to to protect your scalp from UV.

    Also, calling the baby-like fee-fees of trump 'emotions' is being far too generous. He's never been 'angry' in his life, he just throws temper tantrums that are 100% symbolic to try to bully people, it's like saying a slug is 'angry' when you dump salt on it, I'm sure it's not jazzed about it's horrifying fate, but I'm equally certain that it's not feeling what I would understand as 'anger', if it's suffering stopped it wouldn't be angry, in contrast with a true human, who would be biter.

    Yeah, re: conservatives having multiple divorces and still trying to take the moral high ground, those folks need to read more New Testament, God's son was not a fan of divorce.

    I feel like maxwell literally can't suffer enough, and I'm a very creative/messed up person. Targeting children is inhumane, ergo she doesn't deserve to be treated as a human.

    Still cannot believe how many people still cling to depp after finding out what a POS he is.

    I always feel bad for Britney because I really think she would benefit a lot from actual support, yet nobody wants to help her it seems. Hope she's doing fine I guess?

    How is Jennifer Lopez taking her husband's last name in any way chaotic? And how exactly is it anyone's business anyway? She's not asking for anyone to drop her birth name and JLo and call her 'Jennifer Affleck' from now on lol. She's always going to be Jennifer Lopez professionally so anyone thinking they have a right to judge her on this really needs to get a grip.

    Erin Ryan: It feels very Depp-Heard to me.
    New word Deppheard- to employ social media mechanisms to manipulate trending content in their favor, especially during a lawsuit.

    I love Erin's use of language. 😏
    She comes up with so many great words and turns of phrase.🙆🏻‍♂️🏆🏆
    I think this should become a new name-verb, like Borking or Gerrymandering. 🤷🏻‍♂️📝📖

    People with an understanding of fucked-up relationships understand that Depp and Heard were both abusers and both victims of each other. It makes no sense to pick a side in other people's fucked up relationships.

    Every so often, I can't help but wonder exactly how many times Ivanka has literally saved the world. She seems to be the only person who can consistently talk some sense into her father. It's too easy to envision her pulling him away from the nuclear launch pad with just "Oh you don't want to blow up the Earth today Dad, you're golfing 18 holes with Lindsay Graham tomorrow!"

    Bruh if we're talking chaos, what about the assassination of Shinzo Abe? Have you SEEN the gun the guy made for it?? It looks like something the Overwatch game devs rejected as too weird even for Junkrat
