Even Youtubers who start out fresh and honest and not mercenary, eventually change. They see advertisers who want to throw money at them, and patreon, and channel membership, and for almost ALL of them, it's a steady downhill ride. As they gain more viewers, they become sleazier and sleazier, but learn to hide it better with slick production and careful editing. So many examples. A good one is The Charismatic Voice, she's definitely all about the money now, some of the embedded ads she has are just nonsense, the things she says completely unbelievable and a discredit to her.

It doesn't seem like Justin is like that, which is why he's a breath of fresh air. But every hero becomes a villian if they live long enough.

I am curious to know ,(even thoyugh curiosoty killed the cat"),why you stay away from the iffy subject of CATS in SPACE. As a big fan of 70s Queen you might say "whats the point of those cats that are space when you could just listen to 70s Queen instead. Or you could say that its good that a band in the 21st century is still having a go at this sort of music based on 70s album rock, although the softer end of the spetrum.

7:20 Wait till Justin sees all the AI music "in the style of" certain artists or genres (i.e. Phil Collins sings The Police, or In The Air Tonight' if it was reggae, etc.). I agree with Justin, btw – repurposing songs is pretty shallow and lacking in "artistic merit", also nothing like doing an honest "cover" version. I always thought that copyright protected artists against such "repurposed" use of original music and composition, when you just change the lyrics or some other content and try claiming the revenue for the new "creation"… (something Rick Beato has covered a few times)

I believe everything you would do will be interesting. I esp. like to be educated and introduced to new musik (or art). New for me that is, finding treasures in the past is exciting. Loved it when you put spotify playlists attached to your videos.

3:08 that show looks like the Enmore/ Sydney show 😍 amazing night and amazing show! I kept yelling for you guys to Black Shuck. The boys started Heart Explodes and then cut the intro in half. Then Justin said “alright this is for the guy who keeps yelling Black Shuck”, I went off and so did the people around me 😂 So whenever I hear Black Shuck now I chuckle and smile

I believed king crimson to be an established band for much longer than that, and wiki informs me that there was indeed an earlier line up (or two!) that were disbanded, then they reemerged in various line ups with more hiatus inbetween.
I’ve never really listened to them so it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on their various incarnations and which ones you find most intriguing

So, I checked Angine De Poitrine, and, well, its certainly out there. Its not my cup of tea, and of course it should be tea, we're English darlings, but for some i'm sure it will be just theyvve been looking for. Its hard to explain what the music is, what genre it falls into, its just that bit different. And, so glad youre back Justin, its been a while, and like your other fans, youve been missed.
