In most ways if given the chance, I couldn’t go back. I’m just too used to things like the internet, cell phones, HDTV, the features of cars today, ease and safety of air travel, food choices, and other things today. But, if I could somehow erase my knowledge of those things today, I’d definitely go back. Or if I could go back even with my knowledge of today, for just one week or one month, man would that be fun.

Isn't it funny how TV shows and commercials from the 1980s used songs from the 1950s and 60s ? Looking back it seems so cringe lol like…. Were the songs of the time period not appropriate or something?

Hi Dave, i'm Holger from Germany and I am a big fan of your channel. I watched almost all of your stuff yet. Please bring more 80ies regional commercials. Thank you and keep up the good work! Cheers

Being a NYC area kid and seeing many of these commercials again caused a ton for my emotions to unwrap. I had a truly shaken moment watching these. You just sit and consider how starkly life can change. I think I knew at a young age that those days were truly something special. Never stop preserving, because I'll never let the 1980's not be a forever part of who I am.

Meh life sucks, we never know what we have until its gone. The best years of our lives usually happen at the beginning. The rest of life after being a kid, is just the experience of losing everything you ever knew. Including your life at the very end. That's why finding Jesus Christ is so important. This whole thing goes by in what seems like five minutes.

A 1987 commercial lineup, coolsville. I was 5 in 1987, things were hella simpler. I vaguely remember that Duracell commercial, like it was yesterday. Man how I loved playing with Legos back in the day, Duplos too. Amazing video, loving the new outro Dave 👍🏼
