How do you know that 1+1 is 2? You don't even know this! Some human had to invent this shit, and before that it did not exist. A chimpanzee does not know that 1+1 is 2. Not because it is to stupid, but because you are too stupid to understand that mathematics is imaginary.

You can alter your beliefs by altering your judgements of your perceptions. Experience also alters beliefs (since it is a major contributor to shaping one's perceptions), and experiences can be changed or altered

what if the imagination is 4th dimensional perception, meaning anything you can imagine exists somewhere is the space time continuum and whenever you use it you're tuning into it like a radio 🤔maybe I'm too high lol

I would say belief somewhat depends on the person. Most people don't have a very strong will of mind, and are incapable of rejecting their family's religion, or if their family is Atheist, agnostic, etc. (inb4 angry atheists come in and say "STOP SAYING YOU'RE AGNOSTIC. AGNOSTICISM IS ATHEISM!").

I no longer practice Catholicism, and while my parents strongly believed in God, I'm not so sure if God does it exist.

I was very excited that I knew the HP reference even before he said Privet Drive and in my happy dancing I realized that I was dancing to the Quizlet Live music in the background??? Now I can't hear what Olly is saying all I hear is Quizlet Live

Couldn’t watch the whole video, but the definition of imagination that is both pithy and somewhat helpful is as follows:

Imagination is that power of mind responsible for representing possibilities.

When you say to imagine a billion fish in the Atlantic ocean, I wouldn't say that what I'm actually doing in response to that is imagining, because it's not imaging. Instead I interpret that at something like "suppose there are a billion fish in the Atlantic ocean", and then I'm waiting to hear what you're going to say about that before I imagine anything more specific than a few fish and a map.

What if I hold a belief (let's say a politicized situation) that persons whose assertions I trust to be credible conflicts with, but which has not been sufficiently explained or internalized to override my belief in the narrative I recognize should be false?
