What If These Exoplanets Orbited Our Sun?

What If | March 29, 2026

What if we took some of the most fascinating exoplanets ever discovered… and dropped them straight into our own Solar System? In this episode, we drag distant worlds thousands of light-years closer to home and test what would really happen if they orbited our Sun instead of their native stars. From the promising Earth-like TRAPPIST-1 e to massive super-Earths, frozen rogue worlds, and a jaw-dropping super-Saturn with rings wider than Mercury’s orbit, things get wild fast.

Glory be to Allah. He creates whatever He wills. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth.

Why do people still drag the J1407b myth, its been said a while back that J1407b is most likely a rogue brown dwarf that eclipsed V1400 Centauri.
And those "rings" are protoplanetary disks, similar to OTS 44.

I don’t know if you heard, but Mamajek’s Object (J1407b) isn’t a Super Saturn planet. It doesn’t orbit a star, and it doesn’t have rings. This leaves only one possibility: Mamajek’s Object is a rouge object that just happened to pass in front of the star V1400 Centauri. It drifts through space without a star to orbit. And its giga rings are actually a debris disk where moons are being formed. It’s a rouge object forming its own moon system, and those moons are destined for darkness, just like their parent. It sucks that Mamajek’s Object, which we thought was a Super Saturn, has actually turned out to be one of billions or even trillions of rouge planets drifting through the galaxy without any star to orbit. But it’s the truth about this planet.

I love how this video blends real astronomy with “what if” scenarios. Comparing Earth‑like worlds and massive exoplanets in our Solar System made me rethink how unique our neighborhood really is.
