What a stupid question, if earth as Big as Sun and we human and animals exist on that planet then everything are same as we exist todays earth.

So weโre talking about what if the earth GREW as big as the sun not what if the earth was already the size of the sun. Misleading tittle

That's crazy, I've never thought of that honestly

I was kind of going along with this until you acted like the Earth became the size of the sun but somehow the water wouldn't also increase along with it and somehow the Earth would be shallower as far as the water? That doesn't even make any sense if the Earth was expanded to be the size of the sun I would assume the volume of water and all the other minerals and everything else likewise would be expanded at the same exact ratio otherwise there's no point in the comparison at all.

Hi What If! This video is a total mind-blowing intellectual journey! ๐โจ Iโm absolutely fascinated by your simulation of the 'Sun-sized Earth' scenario. The breakdown of gravity increasing 28-fold and the prospect of humans weighing a staggering 1,400kg was both mind-boggling and bone-chilling. ๐คฏ๐ช
The segment on how oceans would become shallower and more prone to evaporation shows the team's incredibly thorough scientific research. Beyond the stunning 3D visuals, your take on the collapse of ecosystems and infrastructure provides such a deep insight into the delicate balance of our universe. ๐๐ก Thank you, What If, for always delivering high-quality content that piques the curiosity of millions. Wishing the channel even more success and more daring hypotheses in the future! ๐๐ฏ๐

Well the Sun is 333,000 times Earth's size. So if we were the same ratio I would be 24,309,000 feet tall or 4,604 miles tall.

Coincidently I just calculated this: If the Earth were 1 mile in diameter, it would have about one square mile of land and 2.2 square miles of ocean. About 1/3 of a square mile would be deserts, 0.22 square miles would be mountains, and 0.40 square miles would be forests, grasslands, lakes, etc. The Amazon would be 21 acres and Lake Superior would be 1/3 of an acre and about 2 inches at its deepest point. Mount Everest would be 3.6 feet tall, and the Marianas Trench would be 4.5 feet deep. And the Earth would have a population of 125 people.

2:04 I feel like if the earth is getting bigger itโs not just land itโs water too since thatโs apart of the earth

The title is wrong. It should be: "What if Earth sudently inflate to the size of the sun?". So thumb down because I counted of breakdown about how life may evolve if on the planet of that size.

OK but could human animal and plant life have grown and succeeded and what would it have looked like if the Earth started out Sun sized. Not suddenly become sun sized?

You gotta pick a lane here. Either the Earth is as massive as the sun meaning everything gets crushed into atoms immediately but wouldn't lose any land to water ratio, or you maintain the same amount of mass and the Earth pops like a rock balloon because the mass is stretched too far

I think the logic is flawed here. You're not making the earth as massive as the sun – you're just inflating it like a balloon. Making it bigger means more soil and water. Then the gravity would crush us!
