What I Learned About Sonic Youth’s “Sister” From Thurston Moore’s Memoir

Sonic Youth guitarist Thurston Moore released his memoir SONIC LIFE in late October 2023, and I dug into it to pull out a few interesting things about the band’s 1987 album “Sister.” This was the album that really got me into the band’s music, and it remains a favorite of theirs to this day.
