I don't agree that NOTHING existed before the big bang…
Just recently new research (and as we know theories are constantly changing and challenging the questions of the universe) that suggests dark matter particles could have been produced during cosmic inflation, the period of extremely rapid expansion that preceded the Big Bang. Another hypothesis is the "Dark Big Bang" scenario, where a separate "Dark Sector" of particles and interactions could have been created in a different event that then influenced or interacted with our universe.

Something existed before the big bang; research is always changing but if there is 1 thing I am confident with, it's that this universe didn't come from absolute nothing, it just seems that way to humans from our understanding of physics but this universe is far more bizarre that anyone can imagine. It could be beyond physics all together

Well now since we know about black holes, I am more convinced that there was not one Big Bang, but many Big Bangs. Only the Big Bang is actually a Black Hole exploding. Our Milky Way galaxy has a Black Hole in the center. One day it will consume the entire Milky Way and then explode to create a new galaxy.
