I'm pretty sure "Executive" is derived from the word "Execute" which means "to do" (carry out/accomplish) – and Officer just means a "Person Holding an Official Post"

So "Chief Executive Officer" really means: "Official Person In Charge of Doing Things" 🤔

Fun fact… if you need a job ASAP or have tried for a while & have an issue w AI throwing ur apps out you can create a business (LLC preferred) & register yourself as a CEO/ Owner through whatever state you're in for about $100. Obviously you have to have a business plan or list is as vague Consulting & can make it involve ur passions. Then when you apply for jobs you get to put that on your resume to get an actual job. The AI most companies use will automatically put you at the top of the list. Then you have ur time to sparkle during the job interview & showcase ur actual talents.

What fucks me off is that these people are supppsed to be the best, but have the starting mindset of "my first corner shop", and think, "ooh, labor is biggest expense, I target labor, $1,000,000 plz." 🤢🤮

The fun thing about CEO's getting paid in stocks is they aren't taxed on them until they sell them. So they "make" $150 million and don't pay any taxes on them.

But they can use them as collateral for loans from banks, which usually has an interest rate lower than the average increase of those stock values. So their money in the stock market is making more money while they spend other people's money.

Wheeee! Got one that will make you feel better! Our son works for UPS where everyone HATES the CEO & they're going beast mode to get rid of her. How do peasant-people-on-the-bottom do this? Unions. That same son is a damn Teamster and it's as strong as you get, considering they're still standing after being bossed around by Al Capone.
