We Went Bowling. What Bowlero Did to Every Lane in America Will Shock You.
Private equity is taking over bowling and pricing everyone out.

More Perfect Union is an Emmy-winning, nonprofit newsroom whose mission is to build power for working people. Here’s what that means: We report on the real struggles and challenges of the working class from a working-class perspective. We attempt to connect those problems to potential solutions. We report on the abuses and wrongdoing of corporate power. And we seek to hold accountable the ultra-rich who have too much power over America’s political and economic systems.

Corporations couldn't take over if owners didn't sell to them. Who's greedy?😡

Too expensive now. Bowling used to be the cheap thing to do…it shouldn’t cost 80 bucks for 2 people to bowl two games

Unfortunately, capitalism produced neoliberalism where "there is no such thing as society." Given that, $$$ becomes god over all, with profit/the bottom line worshiped over humanity and planet. We are one sick species!

How do they "push out" the less expensive bowling alleys if they're such an awful value? I don't get this.

Bowlero is about the one place you can get into around here. There's an independent just around the corner from me but you can never get in because bowlero has pushed all the leagues into the last few independent places.

Corporate America is doing what they do best with bowling. Turning it into shit. They’re doing the same thing with gaming too.
