For the Three Gorges Damn to take a year of your life away, you would have to live to be about 3,970,617,432 years old (3.97 billion years). Which is about 600 million years off of how old Earth is. At least as of 2024.

So yeah, like Michael said you don't have to worry about it. So, unless you are Galactus or Cthulhu, you are fine

I used the 0.06 microseconds and converted them into days (6.9e-13) then multiplied them into years and kept changing the number until i got to just around 1 year. The end number ended up being 1.0000000002492nd of a year, so i rounded down. Thank you for reading my TedTalk, and as always thanks for reading

This morning, my wife and I had a conversation about water and she brought up an argument about weather water is wet or not? Do you think you can help clear this up please?

For anyone who didn't know, lotion is hydrophobic.

Some family of mine's guest bathroom has two sinks. Each has a refillable soap dispenser. One might assume both contain soap, but NO. One has lotion. I figured out, the hard way, that when your hands are wet, you can't rub in lotion. But you can't rinse it off either. And soap just mixes with the water, which is repelled. And you could dry your hands off, but that would get lotion on the towel. So no matter what, your stuck. There is no elegant solution.

Now, this is worsened by the fact that the soap and lotion are visually indistinguishable, and the dispensers are both slightly different shades of blue-green. I can never remember which one is which.

It's a real pain in the rear
