That’s interesting that Drew focused on Carol’s journey, my biggest takeaway from Plur1bus was a different conundrum to think about explored with each episode regarding the concept of a hive mind, questions about consent, culture and morality. Maybe people that deemed it slow were more interested in the characters or something

6:45 I feel like once they mixed all the characters into one big group is when it started getting too much. Season one split its plot into three groups representing different 80’s sci fi movies. The kids were the goofy fun family flicks, think goonies E.T. The teens were pretty much pure teen slasher movies. While the adults had the mystery science fiction horror similar to movies like alien. In season 4 they threw that idea away which is why it feels like there’s too many characters. Because they were never supposed to be one big group. They were supposed to be three groups connected by one threat
