When I was six years old in 1989, I had a toy version of the brick cell phone and I loved it! I mean, it was the same weight as my Ghostbusters II Ghost Trap toy, but it was very fun! ππ»πΌπ€£

Gel doesn't put a hole in the ozone. Because it's gel. It stays on your hair, and doesn't go into the atmosphere. Hairspray did that. And maybe mousse.

Wall Street was eye opening!!! This and Secret to My Success were to movies that my sister and I based our pretend businesses on as kids. We had no clue what was really going on, but we did know we were supposed to wear suits, have a briefcase, and sometimes yell at people π.
Great video!

Capitalists are actually the most selfless people. If you want to be highly successful, you have got to do a couple of things:
1) You have to take care of your employees. You have to pay them, benefits, bonuses, encourage growth and leadership, and yes, sometimes you have to lay a few off in order to save the majority of your staff. What good is it if 100% of the staff loses their jobs if you don't reorganize?
2) Take care of customers. You have to give them what THEY want and need. Sometimes, they are right. Keep turning out crap, people will stop buying your stuff (coughdisneycough).
3) Pay back investors. If they can't get their money's worth, then our economy will collapse in on itself. If you tax investment, everything will stop.

I had that phone in 1984. Also Gekko looked and acted like my lawyer John R Burgess. But he had the look in 1982. Suspenders, slick hair and chain smoking ruthlessness.
