I really do believe that an oasis is possible.
As long as the game is userdriven it should'nt be that hard.
VR chat is almost there, but i believe with more userfriendly ways of making worlds/games.
If we take a look at a game like roblox where there is a userbased catalog for clothing and hats etc.
Even the game creation studio has a user catalog, with models and scripts made by other players.
So my conclusion is that an oasis better than vrchat is gonna be there within a few years.

Just an update. NOSTOS is NOT a VRMMO. The devs completely lied, all the trailers were scripted and none of that actually show up in-game. Imagine Rust but anime. You leave a session, start over. OH the servers crashed? Start over, and I don't mean start from the last quest, I'm talking start from the tutorial. There is no such thing as character creation and the game runs like a windows 95 pc barely running Doom.
Do not and I repeat DO NOT buy NOSTOS. Go support other developers who actually make good games.
