Instead of paying the musicians properly, to ensure true commitment, future equal partnership was promissed.
Once success was achieved through collective effort, the band was replaced and the original musicians were pushed away to avoid sharing as promissed.
We all know what kind of people do this kind of sh&t.

I read in a zine somewhere that Vivian was in a local Belfast band before Dio picked him up and gave him the guitar position in his new band. Apparently, as time quickly progressed, the inexperienced 20-year-old Vivian was getting a little too pushy too soon. Dio was 40 at the time of Holy Diver, who had already been in the music biz for 25 years, gave him his walking papers.

I used to read that RJD’s ego was out of control and that Viv’ was getting shit on at every turn but then a guitarist for a popular Glam Metal band went on Eddie Trunk’s show and claimed that Viv’ was a whiner and always complaining.

So funny how the story is exaclty the same with the osbournes. Blizzard of Ozz, no wait it's Ozzy and we are going to take all your publishing and royalties. After Jake got 4ss r4ped I made it a new rule that I dont join bands with a wife being a manager.

Why would Dio make a bitch his manager that left him? unbelievable. Stupid move. She was on that metal show and said she wasn't ever attracted to him but was attracted to his brain, right! She was another war hog gold digger like the rest.

Dio never recorded anything of note after Viv left. Other guys stayed in the band because Vivian was in a better position to stand up for himself. Im a big Dio fan but he didnt like getting called on his promise.
