Virtual Exhibit Booth: AmeriCorps VISTA

AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) members support community efforts to overcome poverty. VISTA members support antipoverty missions across the nation, in many ways such as organizational development, grant writing, and volunteer recruitment.

You choose from a variety of projects led by local nonprofits, city and county governments, or Native American tribes. For one year, you could:

• Expand STEM and literacy programs for under-resourced public schools
• Develop job training programs for adults experiencing homelessness
• Build partnerships with recovery centers and law enforcement to prevent opioid misuse
• Recruit volunteers to assist seniors living independently
• Increase food security and sove
