US Hits Iranian Infrastructure. DSA Commits Treason? Spencer Pratt’s Bombshell Accusation
Humble House: 15% off with code TOM https://humblehousefoods.com
Everyone’s eyes are on Iran — which may be exactly the point. Tom and Drew lay out the case that the real story is China: content to let America get bogged down in the Middle East while it makes its move on Taiwan and the semiconductors the entire US tech economy runs on, quietly works to crater AI’s revenue, and keeps shifting out of the dollar and into gold. Plus a hard look at what actually holds a nation together, and the psychology of anger versus love in human conflict.

I think China stealing IP, isn't talked about loud enough either. Not only did they use Capitalism to raise their bottom floor but even with just using a little capitalism, they would not even be code to where they are had they not stolen so much IP from capitalist countries.

There's a more fundamental problem. I'm getting to the point where I'm seeing what an AI 'enhanced' life IS in work and life integration but just on the solid fringes of interpretation it seems clear.
I don't know that people can 'fully' relax as far as the 'traditional world' is concerned. I hope it will be preserved in its pure essence but as far as the 'new jobs' and 'new skills' transition and the overall 'benefit to everything factor', it is true but it seems to me, at the current instantiation, we're going to need both.
The traditional framework is the foundational reference for everything to come (i know there are elements that ought to be retired here) and that reference needs to evolve and shape along side AI and AI/Human collaborative outputs, and pure human outputs that must operate principally all the way to the core of its own true being.
Yes, AI is applicable everywhere but for humans to harness it, manage things, ensure positive outcomes is more than just a skillset. If we want to avoid the path to hell; that's a completely different manner of thinking that will be much more challenging to 'adapt to' especially in aggregate, in the new world.
On top of the fact and rightfully so, some will choose not to want to or be incapable of developing those 'skills'. I think we need both.

I didn't realize the Muslim council in Hamtramck had banned rando flags (including the Sin of Pride flag). Hilarious. I've been saying for a long time it makes no sense that neo-communists / liberals / leftists support Muslims, except that they do it on the false Victim > Perpetrator model, because Muslims are hyper-conservative, not liberal. Conservatives see Muslims as a threat because they look at history and see what happens when Muslims gain a foothold in a non-Muslim country, or even what happens when one tribe / sect of Muslims gets a foothold in a country run by a different tribe of Muslims.
Being against Islam or Muslim immigration into your country is not "racist." A religion is not a race. If you hear someone with an Indian or Arabian accent and you have some kind of knee-jerk reaction about what kind of person they are, that actually is broad stereotyping, and you're going to go through your life disappointed by your worldview.

You can't have a free market monopoly that abuses it's customers. Reason it out.
That was Rockefellers plan. It didn't work. The only way he could maintain a free market monopoly was making his products better AND cheaper than his potential competitors.
Abusive monopolies are always a product of the state, which is an abusive monopoly.

Palestinians and Jews were living together in relative peace before Israel became its own state. There were Jews living in the region before Zionism. The contention isn't values based, by your own standard that has been invalidated.
After Israel became a state and they pushed the Palestinians out, Israel and Egypt raged a war, I think for 20 years, with gaza full of Palestinians in the middle, first occupied by Egypt and then occupied by Israel, and they have never been given their own state or freedom.
If you blinded the actions of both groups of people, you would not be able to pick out who committed which atrocities. Between the US, Britain, Egypt, Israel, and the Palestinians, the Palestinians are by far the most innocent, even with all the terrorist crimes some of them have committed, by any objective humanitarian liberal standard.
And it is so much worse than westerners are lead to believe, but the narrative is paper thin. It doesn't take that much work to verify it.

1:05– Tom, it’s all about Identity. Intellectual serves identity and identity shapes intent. As soon as to select your identity the game is on.
That’s why identity politics works. Every identity draws a new potential battle line.
This plays out in race /nationalism (tribalism) & religion.
When Christianity fractalled from a single group identity the conflicts began. Same with Islam (Sunni & Shiite). Every Time.

That was the reasons for the crusades btw.

Are you a PSYOP CIA creep with a libertarian mask? You tout this system and globalism. The markets in this country are all controlled with derivitives. You need a free market to have true capitalism. While your buddy Luvig Von Mises founded neoliberalism, Milton Feiedman was an architect selling neoliberalism. Freidman said you need a free market for capitalism to work. The government found derivatives and numbers tripped the markets in 1988 then used derivatives to keep the market from crashing in the early 90s with Bush and Clinton. Today the Gold and silver market (unwanted debasement currencies) are controlled by J P Morgan and Blackrock (SLV Mostly owned by JANESTREET). This is all done with a wink and nod from treasury and the Fed.
When 93% of all equities are owned by the top 10% in wealth, and markets are controlled, this is fascism , not capitalism. The wealthy pool their wealthy pool their wealth. In 1990 the bottom 50% in wealth did 47% of the consumer spending. Today it is 17% of the consumer spending. China deflated their economy, we inflate it. Which is more humane for the most people? The GINI coefficient published by the fed and IMF is a lie at 0.43, Statistica is more acurate at around 0.48. The Fed lies about the economic numbers amd constantly republishes lower employment and GDP numbers months later.
When you normalize the GDP with the PPP internationally you get a more comprehensive view of how our economy is doing. China beats us hands down economically. With high unemployment, inflation, and high prices for housing people are pissed off and want to destroy the system.
The Greeks (Diogenes, Socrates and Plato) said the wealthy live in luxury and become disconnected, greed, arrogant and weak in mind or stupid. American AI costs 0.15 / mega token to process data. The Chinese are 1% less efficient and use less sophisticated processors that use less circuitry.
American AI says the resson Chinese AI is so cheap because the Chinese stole the teachings of AI through a process of distillation. The Chinese had tens of thousands of bots asking our AI millions of questions. This however does not answer why susraining costs are si high.
The Chinese will market their AI to the world with the US. You would think there would be massive efforts to drive costs down. Yhe US says they will be more marketable because of scalability. Really what does that mean. They do not address costs, produce tangible profits, or protect themselves frim distillation. They continue putting massive effort into perfecting their AI model consuming tokens and using expensive GPUs. They are disconnected, arrogant in pursuing their thoughts and stupid in not defending themselves from distillation. We should not give the wealthy the ability to have say in how society's resources are used. The use wealth should be regulated because they are spending it foolishly that is not in the national interest.

INSURGENT: a person who revolts against civil authority or an established government, especially : a rebel not recognized as a belligerent
And thankful we should all be to NOT live somewhere that insurgency is common. So far our checks and balancing act has been for the most part able to do a well enough job.
Let this question linger in your mind for a couple days. WHY IS IT WE DON'T KNOW ANY INSURGENTS? When your runnin errands, dinner at a friends or families, a PEACEFUL walk or playing catch at a park, when you' re choosing food, clothes, cars, Ps5, a drumset, talking negatively about your government without one single fk givin to the thought of being harassed, detained, murdered.
The list goes on forever. Make your own list of things important, sacred, precious. Compare to other places like an Iran. What is daily life like if you don't agree with how government runs the show. From the POV of someone who keeps their mouth shut because they have a family. What is like like for someone who hates his government, whose had friends and family killed by them? Why do we NOT know any INSURGENTS?

You can hear something so many times ….yeah yeah, got that….
Then in a random moment…click, oh
Debt/loaning money from the future potential earnings/growth
Car for eg is a "dead loan" in and of itself- taking from future.
*But can be used as a tool to generate present and future wealth
While the "asset" needs maintaining. But also deppecaites overtime as paying it off.
Company/service/product is attempting to leavage that "loan" from the future to PAYBACK that loan and hopefully create additional value added.
The valued added – is sort of like earning interest (clearly its not. But as a way to demonstrate)….an acorn nut into a tree that inturn, produces not only more nuts, but also in this analogy – real estate…shade shelter [land] stability: an eco system (eco – nomics)
*The "-nomics" part of economics can be traced back separately, and it has an interesting history.
Economics comes from the Greek word οἰκονομία (oikonomia).
This itself is made of two parts:
oikos (οἶκος) = house, household, family estate
nomos (νόμος) = law, custom, management, distribution, ordering
So originally oikonomia meant something like:
"the management of the household" or "the rules by which a household is run."
From there:
oikonomos = household manager or steward.
oikonomia = stewardship, administration, management of resources.
The modern word economics is therefore essentially:
"the study of the rules and management of resources within the household of society."

I love your logic, as always… but… in reading the Hadith, the Koran, and listening to the precepts of Hesbolah… it is clear that Mohammed's intentions diverge from those of Jesus, specifically because Islam has a warrior/conqueror's spirit. True fundamental Islam is a political system not just a religion. True Islam believes women are property, there is no such thing as marital rape, women in court need 2 witnesses for everyone a man brings to court. Sharia law is oppressive and incompatible with the freedoms
our veterans died for. Many Muslim countries this day and age it's legal to marry 9 year old girls. And the producer wants to defend Jihad! Drew please!! Read the quran and you will know. watch a woman without a trial being stones to death in Pakistan. Still going on. Our laws are not compatible with fundamental radical Isam. I am sorry but we have fought to hard and too long to be tolerant of these injustices. We should not go backwards in the name of tolerance.

Country is destabilised, people are fleeing. Wealthy arabic nations don't take those people in, ask those nations why, don't ask the refugees. Meanwhile, refugees flee wherever they can flee and have a decent life. That's how they end up in Britain. Saying that these refugees must themselves either force themselves upon arabic countries or stay in their own destabilised ones is irrational.
Also reformation in Islam is impossible because Islam is decentralized religion – more like protestantism then the catholic Pope

Drew keeps talking about the 300 girls killed as if the U.S. is the bad guy and it was intentional. Are you completely oblivious to Iranian government brutally murdering their own people for decades? Pssst it's waaaaay more than 300 souls(RIP). Lets say you called the police, and have been for decades, (but the Chief of Police aka US Presidents) kept on not rescuing you, (that's an entirely different conversation detailing the removal of the last 5 President's nutsack prior to taking office-I digress) Until finally they respond and arrive to your large home where you and 30 friends and family live, and start the attempt of apprehending the "bad guys" who took over your house years ago. They've killed, raped, tortured, made you watch, and held you and yours hostage for decades. SWAT in a terrible accident kill a couple children(terrible tragedy) at your home, not on purpose, the intent was and is to save and rescue you and yours so you no longer have to live in a house with very very bad men who could at any moment, for any reason, murder and or rape you(yes you, a man) you or anyone else living there. Are you really blaming SWAT, and becoming a terrorist against SWAT
Drew, you mention the terrorists being spawned out of the horrific bombing of the 300 girls. R.I.P.
Yes, there’s truth here. Now to be fair to other viewpoints in Iran. Is Iranian not creating potential terrorists (against current regime) when they brutally murder their own citizens? Or throw acid on the faces of women who were suspected of looking at another man?
I keep addressing Drew, not an attack on you, this is meant to be conversational and provoke some questions to ask yourself. If you actually read this, please in spirit of conversation, provoke some questions I need to ask myself. I'm 100% sure there are viewpoints I hadn't thought of.
Love y'all Love the show
