    I don't think BvS was really all that dark or even gritty…
    It just wasn't a good movie.
    I want to love and have rewatched it several times over the years and sure it's got some cool moments but but at the end i always feel like the movie I just watched kinda sucks…
    I love Man of Steel. I love the Snyder cut version of the Justice League, and I love the Watchmen movie.
    I like a lot of Snyder's work but BvS and Sucker Punch are really not good movies.
    300 is also pretty dope.

    I know these are very funny critiques, but the scene where joker drops Rachel and we don't go back to them it's because the Joker is convinced that Harvey Dent is Batman and we find this out later in the movie.

    We’re acting like it’s out of character in this movie that Batman does things that could easily kill people and feels fine about it just cause he doesn’t confirm they died

    But that’s kind of a thing every version of Batman does all the time.

    Like giving someone head trauma so hard they lose consciousness for more than a minute or two means you probably killed or at least brain damaged them.

    I think canonically DC wants us to assume those people live and Batman somehow knows that they would

    But realistically, it’d be more likely that Barbra and Jim Gordon almost certainly go out of their way to keep from mentioning to Bats the statistics on how many people he detains die of brain bleeds and such because they don’t trust him to be able to emotionally handle that news.

    After his parents died his fear was no longer “bats.” It was “my phobia made me responsible for my parents’ deaths” as represented by bats.
    Also he did spy on Gordon for a while. All he had to do was see him take out the trash once and he’d know which day trash day is and who takes it out.

    man! these batman movies are really bad now that i have seen this. like the boiling water or hot shower thing, then the art project thing, then the orphan eyes thing. its sooo bad ~:(

    I have only recently realised (please bear in mind I'm from Scotland, so don't judge too harshly!) that Batman says "I'm not wearing hockey pads". I thought for many years he said "I'm not wearing hockey pants".

    No, no. It's fine, I understand. No, it's OK, I'm leaving.

    I mean wtf are hockey pants?

    to be fair the guy working on the stuff at wayne enterprises was doing so cause it was his department and he likes building gadgets and considering how rich his family is, it makes sense that Wayne enterprises does almost everything

    No I'm pretty sure it's Raz.

    But the most popular depiction of Batman was in Batman: The Animated Series, and they pronounced it Ray-sh.

    Well, I don't care it's Raz!
