And if you tell your story, at least be specific about why you grew up into it, what your grandfather did against the Jews before the establishment of the State of Israel

I am currently living in occupied Constantinople (Istanbul is the occupier name). It is a fantastic place to live for a few years. I plan to return to Dublin in a few years. The history, the food, culture in occupied Constantinople are fantastic. The occupation religion is Islam with adds to the flavour of the city. The great Christian cathedral of Hagia Sophia was turned into an Islamic one (mosque) by the occupiers. Most of the occupiers are friendly. I recommend that people come here and join the occupation if you can get a decent professional job position.

😂 are you aware of the colonialism of the Arab states? They’ve colonised and enslaved every non Arab state and religion out there. Are you aware that upto 5 offers of statehood were offered to Palestinians where the Arab states rejected it? Are you aware that lgbtq is illegal in these places? Your native American religions will be called demonic just as it was in america. An absolute JOKE. Goes to show that having education from an American university and having a Californian accent doesn’t directly correlate with actual intellect. As a scientist myself, it is appalling the lack of knowledge and unwillingness to listen to both sides without bringing in your own dumb American ‘me me me’ bias into it. Your history is not the same! Stop imposing it on the rest of the world.

Complete BS, there is no indigenous Arab Palestine, historical and archeological proof shows the Jews are indigenous to the land and you know it well. Before 1948 the British occupied, before that the ottomans, the Byzantines, Romans, Greeks…and they were occupying JEWISH Israel. Between 1948 and 1967 the Westbank and Gaza were under Egyptian and Jordanian occupation…where was palestine…you are all lies and propaganda

This is shamefully juvenile and irrational. Chilling that you are a teacher and ignorant young minds look up to yours (or do they). Your calling this "breaking free" is ridiculous. You honeslty can't be this ignorant and be a teacher. There HAS to be willful ignorance on your part. Facts of history would be enough for you to know better than to make such simplistic and blood-thirsty comments. Your thinking and expression of darkness is exactly how we have this outcome. Listen, everyone: You DON'T HAVE TO PICK A SIDE. THIS IS NOT A TEAM SPORT SITUATION. It is this time in the world that we see the price of having poor leadership (like this teacher), lack of wisdom, cultish thinking. The so-called leaders are safe in their towers (some in Canada) using religion, tribalism, racism, and emotionally-based provocations to cause destruction. Iran was just about to enter into peace with Israel when this "breaking free" occurred. Other Arabs DO NOT want the Palestinians in their land BECAUSE of Hamas – the elected gov't of Palestine who murdered their competition! BECAUSE of this type of irrational blood-thirsty way of thinking!

Lol. “I was exhilarated by Hamas murdering hundreds of innocent people and I can’t figure out why people are upset.” Good luck getting more people to sign onto your future vision that involves “breaking free” of the type that Hamas carried out. And he’s a professor 😂 Unbelievably stupid.

Since 2005 Israel has relinquished all control of Gaza, and since then it has been a de-facto country. Unfortunately in 2007 under the leadership of Hamas it chose to commence a state of war with Israel, which it insists to continue until today.
Some people like to point out the external blockade of Gaza, to which the words "open prison" refer to. The blockade was established in 2007 to control flow of weapons-related resources into the hands of Hamas. Israel has absolutely nothing to benefit from suffering of the citizens of Gaza.
