WEIRD how Altavista/ZDnet/yahoo SEARCH engine Commercials are EXACTLY like Ai commercials now. They show someone asking the computer a question, and becoming super intelligent professors. SAME EXACT shit.

10:35 BRUh the SOPRANOS came out a LONG time ago didnt it? HBO invented the new age of TV didnt they??!?! damn dude. man seeing an Ad for the Sopranos would make me feel so godo if i was trapped back in 1999.

8:02 man that smart black kid for the embark ad, thinkin bout college applications, and the cute asian girl in teh swimming pool with teh ethereal music, thinking about postage, man that was soooo y2k sooo frutiger man, a swimming pool/ makes me wanna cry man. These commercials just had this utopian feel that was so real, we were inside the utopia for the first time in human history. liek we did it. We can go back to it. if were really careful.

3:20 Damn that "mint" ad was totally using the Rave scene theme of taking Ecstasy MDMA pills in a club/warehouse rave etc, but they disguised it as just a mint. Damn that really was like something corpiorate A,merica wished they could monetize back then, and they eventually did with mega raves like EDC and music festiovals but back then when it was underground, you kids haveno idea how fun it was tpo do a scanvenger hunt to get to a map to get to a warehouse and the really good drugs back then man, and really fun parties that felt like you were still in the 1960s in the bay area or san diego in the 90s, the rave scene was insane man, i barely sqaw the tail end of it and its just so sad what we lost. and it was like an amazing corporate vibe that was decentralized because its liek all the marketing of the day jobs comes out at night as the non corporate rave vibe thats still as slick as any corporate shit.

Omg, I drove one of those gray 2-door Kia Sportages!!!! It belonged to a family friend, but she was away at college, so I was able to drive it while I was a senior in high school. Good times lol

Somebody must've been binging Comedy Central back in the day. You would've needed to pay me a disgusting amount of money make me sit through just 30 minutes of Comedy Central back then.
I was so, so happy when Tom Green stopped being a thing.

Does anyone have a commercial about a cell phone service and it was about a young guy who fell down and had his jaw wired shut so it was about texting to communicate? I swear that commercial existed in the early 2000s and I can't find it anywhere. Or was it on one of these compilations and I missed it?

The late 90's, & very early 00's still felt like the wild west for cable TV not only in terms of the programing, but the commercials as well, & that Victora's Secret ad giving off Blade Runner vibes proves it, as I don't think you have have seen that on OTA TV at the time. πŸ˜… Thanks for another banger, & taking me back to a better time Dave πŸ˜€πŸ‘
