    As of 1999, the Us constitution is null and void. All is just a show. We are under the rule of a corporation and our so called gov is nothing but a mob, robber baron, legal mafia which has judges, lawyers, all belonging to cult secret societies. It’s all been smoke and mirrors.

    I was in a big drugstore chain last week, and i could only get the sale price of items if i gave my phone number and email address. Another store at checkout, threatened me, adter i declined to give my phone number- that i could only 'return items with the receipt." What f*g age are we living in

    The consolidation of data could affect the classification of data because you can narrow down where you're only talking about a few little things before it evolves into top secret it could be something as simple as saying a mission name. This is terrifying

    I don't care what party it is as long as my Medicare and Medicaid and disability are back to where they were before trump. I put in my time and worked my ass off, but ultimately, my job is what made me disabled.

    Well, in effect for a few years now, witness as an innocent victim of surveillance to vilify and terrorize and been crying out about it – all culpable – falling on deaf ears. Not sure how many of us are marked at the moment.

    I feel like we are missing a lot of info about JD and Thiel’s relationship, considering the official story is JD sent him a cold email after seeing him speak at Yale and then he moved to San Francisco to work with him and then basically had his complete political career financed and advanced by Thiel. I read a story about a guy who was nearly positive he had gone on a date with JD during his college years, after meeting on an app (back when he was going by one of his previous names). Said he gave off serial killer vibes, so I can definitely imagine he and Thiel had amazing chemistry from the start. JD said he was going to have to vote for Hillary or third party if Trump got the nomination, yet Trump allowed Thiel to install him as VP. There is no doubt he is extremely dangerous, given his devotion to Thiel and Yarvin. Trump is awful because he has no moral compass and will do anything for the right price, but Vance is driven by a dark ideology and dreams of the enslavement of humanity, so we are doomed… maybe even worse without Trump… Vance will certainly not be any better.

    Doge was the opening salvo with Theils buddy Musk in charge. Just think, if anything happens to trump Theils hand picked sycophant jd vance will be in the drivers seat. Theil has openly stated his version of governance is incompatible with democracy. But then trump said if he won we would never have to vote again and there would be Gestapo….mmm police…everywhere. Dictator from day one don’t ya know. Wonder what deal musk and theil had worked out with trump before they bought him and vance an election. Wonder what the computer wiz kids did to help out

    This particular "nerd shit" is precisely why fantasy and science fiction should not be viewed simply as shallow entertainment – speculative fiction offers a great tribune to broadcast political ideas and since it reaches a broad audience, it could bring those ideas to people who would not hear them otherwise. Just think of Andor, the Star Wars show that just went under the guise of "that children's space fairytale with the glowsticks" and harshly criticized authoritarian dictatorships while Trump administration was running rampant. Or of 1984 or the Handmaid's Tale which warn us about where exactly we're headed as a society if we don't do something soon. Or of Dune which shows the dangers of AI as well as the blind following of unhinged but charismatic leaders. That's not "nerd shit" for you to discredit as unserious, this is a platform to show all sorts of social and political scenarios playing out. Or do you think adults read/watch it for the fairytale?

    They already have databases on us. They are just using AI. They have been tracking us since the Patriot Act was implemented. It’s just now we have the wrong person in power that will abuse it. It was clear this was going to happen before the election. Not to mention knew it was going to happen when the patriot act change the willingness of the executive branch to consolidate power and people are complacent about their freedom. Most people don’t want to bothered. They want to watch dumb videos play games and ignore everything. The people in power know that and want that.

    I hate the irony of the name palantír . The palantíri were seeing stones, like magical walkie talkies that you could look through to communicate with one another. They were first used by the Numenorians and used to guard against evil. But later many were lost, and some fell into evil hands, so that by the time of the Lord of the Rings, they are associated with dark lords and wizards.
