   It feels like the reason this has spiraled so far out of control is because the government is supposed to be supervising itself, so who’s supervising the government? Over time it’s become so impossible for the average person to keep up that now a significant amount of people seem to think all the power is with the president—because he’s on the news all the time saying outlandish things while bad actors slide by on the artificial inaccessibility that’s been created by years of chipping away at foundations that were already written in so much blood.
   It’s so exhausting to see our public servants so much wealthier and loftier than the people they serve; they work for US, not the other way around! They are paid by our dollars to serve our best interests, and look how they’re being used! I don’t care if you like the red flavor or the blue flavor of propaganda, I only care if you’ve realized yet that ALL OF IT is poison, and undermines our rights as the governed

   This orange haired thug along with his no good grifting criminal family are raking in billions hand over fist by the tune of over 5 billion if not more investing in crypto funds while still in the White House and turning the inside of the Oval Office into some gold mine including having a gold plated chandelier, gold plated toilet seats exc. exc.This is a major example of waste, fraud, and abuse being committed by this trifling grifter and his perverted no good family. If former President Obama or Biden had done this the media especially the right wing eco chamber would never let either of them hear the end of it. Also when Jimmy Carter was in office in the late '70s he had to let go of his peanut farming interests before he could run for president because it would have been a conflict of interest.

    Serving in government at any level should not be a desirable position… by running for office, you should give up all dreams of wealth while serving. The max income should be the median income of your district or state… want more money? Raise the standard of living for your constituents. Only those who wish to make laws and debate actual issues should serve

    I agree with your opinion on corruption, but based on what you have said, I think you do not understand where the value of cryptocurrencies comes from. I can absolutely understand this, I think very few people understand all the aspects of why you have to pay more than $100,000 for a Bitcoin if its value is based on nothing. The basic answer is very simple: the value of Bitcoin is NOT based on nothing, but on, for example, the fact that it is a completely independent settlement system that works more or less perfectly within the mathematical boundaries created. Another thing that adds a lot to the value of Bitcoin is that every transaction can be traced back since the system was launched, is completely transparent and error-free ledger. The basic value is also strengthened by the network effect (Metcalfe) as a kind of multiplier. And it is further strengthened by every single service or product, every wallet that is connected to the Bitcoin settlement network. Expressed in dollars, this value is currently valued by the market at about one tenth of the value of all the gold ever minted (and which, by pure coincidence, is currently approximately equivalent to the value of all the silver).

    I've seen people say that one side effect of the government getting into crypto is going to be that traditional finance insititutions will be investing into crypto much more heavily. Which will mean when the next crypto crash comes, it is going to plummet conventional economy down with it.

    As a crypto enthusiast and someone who makes their living completely off of crypto I appreciate that you are the first lefty I've seen who actually did their research. That said you missed utility coins which while at the moment are speculative they do have real world use cases such as xrp which is used to transfer money globally from any currency into any currency at a fraction of the price of the swift system and in seconds. Crypto is the future, its faster, and more secure. Beyond that it allows you to truly control your money and reap those benefits. Presently most people keep their money in a bank and the bank uses that money to enrich itself. Crypto and DeFi allow you to make the yields that the bank is currently making off of most people's money. I find it strange that lefties aren't all about crypto as it literally evens the playing field and gives everyone opportunity

    You know what else, as a crypto trader I have measured two crashes directly caused by the trump tariffs. And any pro-crypto policies he enacts would take years to have effects that are noticeable. Because he doesn't know how it works.

    If military members can sacrifice their rights in the service of the nation it only stands to reason politicians should be held to the same standards. You get pay, you get it for the rest of your life. You may not take other jobs after your time at the position ends. You may not trade. You are subject to additional scrutiny during your tenure. You may not accept gifts (with vacations counting) during your tenure.

    Ground News is very wrong regarding CNBC being “left-leaning”.

    CNBC is not left-leaning. They are very much into cryptocurrency and Wall Street grifting as any other corporate media financial outlet. Look up MacKenzie Sigalos from CNBC for example; she plays very heavily into benefitting off of the US’s crypto policies as well as Bitcoin propaganda. MacKenzie has been heavily featured at Bitcoin conferences run by BTC, Inc. Its CEO, David Bailey, is a sucker for any administration who is pro-crypto, even Trump’s.

    Also, look up CNBC’s history of inviting on billionaires and influencers from crypto industry such as Eric Trump, Michael Saylor, Cathie Woods, Larry Fink, etc.

    I consider myself progressive minus all the identity politics. I enjoyed your video about Ronald Reagan. But right now Trump is doing something with bitcoin that is absolutely necessary. If you're against the SBR and the regulation of bitcoin, then you are advocating for the current federal reserve and fiat money system which has allowed the government to devalue the dollar, finance endless wars and contribute to the ever expanding wealth gap. He's not doing anything behind smoke and mirrors. HE's openly encouraging people to acquire bitcoin, as he himself is doing it. It's not like he's not transparent. You're really coming off as a leftist blind with rage and also lacking credibility because of the timing of this story considering Nancy Pelosi's husband is the greatest stock trader in the world's history and ya never said anything before.
