I hate to say this, but I've felt for a long time that the Democrats are depending on the Republicans screwing up so bad there's nobody left to vote for except the Democrats. That's how they lost to Trump twice. I hope they develop a better plan this year and going forward. I'm tired of being put through 4 years of insanity every other election.

Nixon’s first term was remarkably better than either of Trump’s terms. I’d probably say if Nixon hadn’t run for a second term, he’d be higher in the presidential rankings and I don’t give praise to Republican presidents easily. Nixon’s judgement was harsh, but it was a matter of national security at risk when Watergate happened. He should be more remembered for his accomplishments, but that doesn’t require drumming up a conspiracy about him being a victim of Watergate. Trump should have been booted out permanently after Jan. 6. He also should have been held accountable early on in the Epstein cover up. He needs to be held accountable for the blatant attempts to tamper with the midterm elections. Nixon made horrendous mistakes, but he was still a better leader than Trump could hope to be.
