4 years later… Trump's been voted out, but is still refusing to admit it. Lessons learned:
    1) He was EXACTLY the same as president as he was on campaign. He was just as racist, and just as stupid. There was no deeper level to him. None at all. He wasn't playing 5-dimensional chess- he was just spewing out the first thing that came into his head.
    2) A lot of people didn't vote for him his apparent racism, ignorance and contempt for basic decency- they voted for him of them. They didn't care about economics or geopolitics- they just wanted someone who echoed and justified their prejudices.
Conclusions: sometimes things are just as stupid and horrible as they seem on the surface. Never forget that possibility.

I think that if almost 50% (48-49) DID vote for donald trump… That should tell you what the people REALLY thought of the country and of Hillary Clinton. Think about it….. Donald trump Was Less than 4% behind on votes to hillary clinton…. HOW SHITY do you have to be to loose to Donald trump? Feels bad no one else wanted to join the race but… we I saw trump winning when i noticed hillary was a stone-robot with no voice/message, and in comparison… donald trump was a bombshell of news every day.

Too many people fundamentally don't understand the role of the federal government or how it works. Thar's why it was so easy for the Russians to gaslight Americans on social media.

This dude is literally repeating Russian bot talking points from social media about HRC.

I hope he's watching D.C. to see how Trump has systematically appointed individuals to chair important federal agencies who are against the missions of those said agencies.

Also, the lack of concern about who was going to be allowed to appoint the next round of SC justices baffled me.

HRC was supposed to be a war monger, yet she never started a war or deployed troops.

I'll choose competence over theatrics all the time.
The fact that so many Americans felt conflicted about who to vote for means they deserve Trump and all the bullshit that comes along with him.

Perhaps some people will receive what I have to say on this with a bit of apprehension and a bit of scorn but I am going to say it. What if I said there is a serious flaw in the American electoral system. Perhaps there is significant error in allowing the electoral college to determine who becomes president. Finally, maybe (just maybe…) the establishment dangled Bernie to mobilize the left just create a collapse by giving us shitty choices in Trump or Clinton. By doing this, they raise our hopes and then shatter them later with Clinton or Trump. Either way they get what they want with either Clinton or Trump. The result is we are at each other throats over who "should have won" when the electoral system was flawed from the beginning. This kind of thing is destined to happen when 2 parties control the American political system when in fact these 2 political systems are actually working together in collusion to leverage this flawed system against the people they are supposed to serve. So, it is not just a moral failure. There is also a structural problem here too. Just something to think about.

I'd love to know you're opinion now that it's been almost a year. I'm new to your channel so maybe you've done another video about this so I'll have to look.

I've only just watched this episode. And we're already along way into a Trump presidency. And things aren't… that bad. He's done some bad things, and some good things. And when he first started there was more good than bad. But now there's more bad than good. It's certainly a roller coaster, but I'm proud to say at least he's keeping "U.S." first. And I approve of that. Anyone who wants can hate me for not giving a shit about other countries. But here's the thing about me not giving a shit about other countries… I don't live in those countries. And I'm tired of being a poor and oppressed citizen in my own country while rich politicians who live an elite life of luxury tell me how "I" can do more for people outside of my country.

It's bullshit. And the people needed to do something that said, "I'm tired of bullshit, if you want bullshit, i'll give you BULLSHIT!"
    And thus Trump won.

P.S. I didn't bother to vote, I live in Alabama and I was going to waste my vote on the third party. The electorals were always going to go to Trump in Alabama.

Hey man I have just recently found & subscribed to your page. Your videos are great and fill me with hope. Out of curiosity, do you watch hbomberguy's stuff? He's really smart and funny, talks about the alt-right and points out some of the contradictions in their arguments. I found your channel playing degrees of separations with my subscribed channels' subscribed channels.

When I had a peaceful discussion about Trump wanting to ban Muslims, I asked her, "how do we prove that someone is a Muslim"? She got so pissed when she couldnt answer that

So….. NOW do you realize that a not voting for Hillary is like voting for Donald trump? This happened because of people like you.
You have to be strategic with your vote. Thanks a lot.

You don't get to bitch about Trump when you helped elect him. It's great that you're so privileged that you have little to fear from a Trump presidency, but you threw a whole lot of less-privileged people under the bus with your vote.

"I didn't vote for hillary clinton, but I preferred her to trump"
You voted for trump. Not voting for Hillary was voting for trump, no matter who you technically voted for

Why would it be different for Women, Muslims etc…?
Stalling Muslims immigration is not the same as Deporting Muslims right?
Deport Illegal Criminal Imigrantes is bad?
Trump was the First Republican candidate to openly recognize and support lgbtq.
    What am i mising here?

Nobody thought Trump would get the GOP nominee. Turned out he got the nominee in a landslide.
Nobody thought Trump would win the election. Turns out America wants to be great again.
Nobody thinks he will be a good president. He will be the greatest president. He will win so much, we will get tired of winning.

I'm amazed. You took ALL the words right out of my mouth. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
I can't say I've agreed with all your stances before, but I certainly appreciate the thoughtfulness you've put into your convictions and opinions. Keep at it, man.

    Hey T1J!

As a person who was raised in a family of democrats and now attends a liberal university in a blue state, I usually don’t hear much criticism of the Democratic Party. Can you post links to some good articles/sources about this topic? (Goggle isn’t returning as good of results as I hoped it would)

    August 28, 2025 at 9:39 am

The1janitor is spot on right, Trump is his president. He embraces him though he didn't vote him. That's the right democratic attitude. He is not like those facist Clinton SA which riots through the street burning down cars, crashing windows, and witch hunting every white male even if they don't know if that one voted for Trump or Hillary. Kudos bro.

Glad you're willing to acknowledge your ignorance. Next time you'll know better, but don't worry, you still don't have to vote for the "lesser evil" because the following two facts don't change: liberals need a candidate that they can fawn over like a high school crush, otherwise they don't vote. Conversely, conservatives always vote for their candidate even if they hate him because they always hate liberals more.

My ignorance was assuming that polling data was extremely accurate. Also not listening to Michael Moore just because he's a partisan hack. Clearly he understood the real situation.

i feel this! part of me says "i should move to Canada like ive been wanting to forever "but on the other side i feel this country needs people like me, people like US, more than ever. the real America. the people who truly believe anyone can make it here. that this IS the land of opportunity and freedom for all, not some.

  22. @xkriolox

    August 28, 2025 at 9:39 am

I'm a little confused by people wanting to vote for a good candidate. That just doesn''t exist IMO. Every government decision is highly polemical and can't please every side…. Voting is almost by definition choosing the lesser evil…

I am more on the right side politically as a classical liberal/libertarian, so I am not like your average sub, but you did a good job with this video. I am very much against Bernie's policies but he seemed like a good, honest person which already puts him ahead of Hillary. This election was very rough for everybody, but I think people are overreacting with the Trump win. Judging from his past, Trump will become far for moderate than he was doing the election, and I think he will be socially liberal (not socially progressive). I bashed Trump a lot over the past weeks, but I am optimistic that he won't hurt the country like many think he will (although I don't think he will Make America Great Again). I do believe Muslims, Lgbt, and others should be worried if Trump dies, and Pence is president. Trump is all talk but Pence is actually the scary one. HAKO

Great video! I think you'd really like the youtuber Styxhexenhammer666 , you two are my favorite discussion/politics type channels, and I think you'd find his arguments very interesting! He's a Trump supporter, and he offers a surprisingly unique perspective on the political climate.

Just because something happens that you don't like, that doesn't mean stop trying, it means try harder and try longer. This is serious. I'll lose my life if I have to.
