    I'm a Portland resident. It was the same here. They video one block and say "the riots" in Portland. When Trump was first elected, there were thousands of people peacefully protesting, and 5 guys hit up a car lot with baseball bats and another five guys are setting garbage cans on fire and it's millions of dollars and damage riots and chaos… such trash. If the pandemic wasn't enough, the news helped take Portland's economy down with their "city is chaos" reporting.

    Keep an eye on which, blue states, are being focused on with respect to immigration and which, red states, are not. I think this is apart of a larger ploy to cripple/disrupt blue states. Make the public in those states unhappy in order to vote into office a republican follower.

    I'm here in FL, unfortunately… i went for a massage yesterday and my therapist said her husband is apart of GA state troopers and are actively and explicitly being given instructions for the planned No Kings protests, that these are riots and if people are in the streets, they are aloud to run them over. Just thought I'd pass this on. These F*k'n people. We went back and forth a few times, me trying to make her aware, that running someone over, no matter who they are is illegal. She argued back, no they are aloud to. etc

    47:21 since legal residents and those with visas are also being arrested and deported, the people that do understand don’t k is if they are one of the people who should leave. No one sees the similarities with Hitler?! I mean… come on!

    Yeah, definitely true and agree. And also… if war zone means robocars on fire and kidnappers unable to leave their hq…. I am OK with it and I think the white house drastically overestimated the outrage out here. People are increasingly outraged about what the govt is doing… which they should have been when a lot of this was being done by dems…but that's another story eh

    With all due respect to the Lt Governer, I am very disappointed in her suggestion that public officials should not be at the protest, don't draw attention. You are dealing with a fascist who will do whatever they want regardless of "provocation". I suspect this was recorded before Senator Padilla was violently manhandled while asking a question and being in a building was authorized to be in. He did his due diligence in asking a question.

    Think long and hard Democrats because you are really hoplessly optimistic that you are working with good faith actors or things will blow over.

    Start making contingency plans because this sounds like this is the beginning of a coup.

    Trump wants to make americans thin again, get ready to not be able to afford shit..the prices of everything is gonna go up and turism is gonna go along with the immigrants..who wants to spend money on a country who hates foreigners 😅

    As an autistic POC here in the American South, I tend to disagree on the notion of "being peaceful" in a protest. Yes, you want to avoid violence, but you can't seed violence to the state and then assume that said state will then respect your positions. That's who these people are, it's the other side that craves violence. I live in Florida and we have plenty of sheriffs that like to fantasize about killing people on the Left. Also, why don't we say the same thing about sports fans when they riot and destroy property? Why? Because oppressed citizens are not supposed to get angry. We are supposed to know our place and when we resist, we are hated and vilified. So, yeah, the idea of a peaceful protest just bothers me. Sorry ladies.

    Do not sit down. You cannot escape, you cannot help others, and you are in direct range of incendiary devices and the most concentrated area of tear gas. So yes, keep your cool out there, but don’t sit down.
