The scene where that where the camel was eating that cactus was painful to watch. I know that the camel is probably having a good time, but still, those thorns looked so painful to chew up and swallow. Nature is so amazing.

3:15 I've recently seen a video of Hank Green having a breakdown after realizing the following:
Fat is assembled from sugar, so it's mostly hydrocarbons. There are oxygen molecules in the air. When camels burn fat through aerobic respiration, for every molecule of glucose that's burned, six water molecules are made. So camels are storing the lighter ingredients (hydrogen) of water in the air, and heavier ingredient of water (oxygen) in the air for free, and make water on the fly as they make energy. It's more efficient than if they were carrying actual liquid water in their humps.

Fun Fact: They've found crocodile skeletons hundreds of miles west of the Nile Valley. There had been water out there until maybe 50,000y ago.

I hope you get to the part about how camels produce 1.1x as much water as they store in fat. So although they don't actually store water, they actually store water, for every 1lb of fat, the convert it to 1.1lb of water. Super neat.
