A powerful documentary reveals the brutal reality faced by African migrants on their journey to Europe: from Agadez in Niger across the Sahara, through Libyan torture camps, and across the deadly Mediterranean Sea. Migrants speak of violence, extortion, rape, and exploitation. Women are forced into prostitution, children die in the desert or at sea. Despite EU border policies, criminal networks continue to thrive. Returnees are often traumatized, yet many still cling to the dream of Europe — hoping for a better life, no matter the cost.

This documentary is from 2018. The situation for migrants and the conditions they face remain the same while a 59% decrease of people seeking asylum through this Mediterranean Route as of June 2025 has been recorded.

    Europe is not worth the risk,, Africans they don’t want you in their country, and the arabs don’t like you. Remember the Arab slave and the Atlantic slave trade trade and what they did your people. Africa don’t need Europe, Europe needs Africa 😡😡

    The UNHCR is a hopeless and useless organisation. The whole UN organisation is useless, does not care about Africans. These are people who earn money for doing nothing. And yet the world countries pour the tax payers money for them to do their job effectively.

    Africans should be taught about Europe before they make the perilous journey theses nothing in Europe for them only exploitation and slave labour Africa is changing these young men and women should stay home to help make the changes happen and not Europe they have no idea what they're putting themselves through.vive Africa

    They need to get real help and proper life daily even to learn how to speak in english even supplies food etc but they should be cooperate properly to the people in the goverment . Because language are the different that numeber 1 reason cannot understand the problem they should be follow whats really need to do. And they should stop illegals what ever is that the need to be learn whats better future for them. People need a proper supplies proper life. Proper knowledge proper prayers proper speak to they can know how to cominicate to others in proper diciplines so they should learn whats rights to make them better how to treat others without arguing or fighting need to be happen.

    Thank you for exposing what is going on in Middle Eastern countries to African people. African people do not have any friends and should keep this in mind when trying to leave their native lands.
