You really should have done homework before making this list. Some of them not surprising since racism was more evident. As well as Eisenberg, since Lex can be manipulative and is intelligent actually made sense. For Saldana, she is a great actress and if she nailed the audtion what more could she have done?! Besides not every person of her ethnicity is dark skinned nor come from Africa alone. In this day and age and with message you were trying to convey REALLY should have picked words more carefully, just makes appears racist and of bigotry (due to this). Example, like saying not Obama is such due to his lighter complexion as well!. Nor do they come from Africa alone (anymore)!

I remember reading that Patrick Stewart was considered for Mr Freese, and I have since tried to imagine him playing a cold intelligent and bitter villain. It could have been incredible.

For Ghost in the Shell, both the original creator of Ghost in the Shell, as well as the original anime director supported her casting and were pleased with her performance. The only people against the casting are the same people who are fine with raceswaps in one direction, but not the other.

I think Zac Snyder misunderstood the fans wanting to have Heisenberg aka Brian Cranston as Lex Luthor. Here's how it went "We want the guy who was Heisenberg to be Lex Luthor" "Eisenberg? Jesse Eisenberg? Okie Dokie then." and that was how Jesse Eisenberg got cast as Lex Luthor.

Angelina Jolie being cast as Colin Farrel's mother in Alexander – while doing a horrible fake accent – was also pretty bad

"So why didn't Zack Snyder cast Arnold Vasloo as Lex Luthor, Vasloo would have made a great Lex Luthor to Henry Cavill's Superman, so why people, why, cause now we may never know & it's a shame that we missed out on THAT dream casting call there & the Snyderverse mob should've known better than THAT." 🤨💭📸📱💯 #MiddlebrooksFanatics♈

I am a miserable old asshole and I think most modern actors suck. So to me its difficult to cast the right person theres no one good anymore.
Chris Pratt was fine as dumbass Andy for Parks and Rec. He can't do shit else. And of course audiences love him, cuz they're as dumb as Andy.
And Megan Fox is just a hot bimbo. She can't act at all. She isnt casted for her acting. She's eye candy. And I don't blame her for exploiting it. Better to be lucky than smart. Look at Donald.

Mark Wahlberg as Max Payne was strange, tbh. I loved Wahlberg in Patriots Day, Deep Water Horizon, Mile 22, and so on, but Max Payne was a miscast.

Honestly I thought Chris Pratt was fine as Mario. I felt like people were way too harsh on his performance even before the movie released. While I’ll agree he was probably the weakest link of the cast, he was far from bad.

They did a "man on the street" in actual JAPAN!!!! What did actual Japanese in Japan say about Scarlett Johansson's casting? They all loved it!! This is a perfect example of white liberals being offended on behalf of people who were not offended at all about the casting.

I love LOVE love Johnny Depp- Nick Of Time is one of my favorite movies of his- but casting him as the vampire Barnabas Collins in Dark Shadows was a grave mistake. Pun intended. He looked more like a kewpie doll than the lead in a remake of the best off-kilter soap operas of all time. Dark Shadows was not a comedy and it deserved better (I blame the director, Tim Burton), Anyway, Depp's Willie Wonka was a close second and his Tonto was third. For Depp, his best work as been original characters, not remakes… one in particular- Captain Jack Sparrow.

I actually and honestly liked Tom Holland as Nathan Drake. I thought Holland was a nice cast because he as well is witty and sporty and somehow a little self-opinionated

The Megan Fox criticism just feels dumb.
Sure, have a whinge that she isn't a redhead. But saying she's a bad casting – implying she's the one to blame – because this April O'Neil isn't written the same way, is just kinda cruel and stupid.
"It's your fault the character is written differently to how I remember them!"

I watched Uncharted in the theaters and I was very happy with Hollan's performance. I dislike some other creative freedoms they had, but I had no issue with his casting, and overall I liked the movie. I have watched it a few times already.

You wanna rag on Russel Crowe in The Miserables then give equal time to a great actress but nothing remotely close to a singer in anything Disney that meryl streep does
As a singer she is still a great actress.
Eisenburg can't act his way convincingly out of a wet paper bag.

Look I loved the uncharted games and yeah, Tom is no Drake but to be honest he actually does pretty good…..HOWEVER the actor who was terrible for the part was Marky Mark as Sully, legit thats the casting people should be upset with

Didn't mind either Kevin Costner och Rosie Odonell, enjoyed both movies a lot and I don't think any of them disturbed the movie in any way. Both Rachel Ziegler and Gal Gadot on the other hand… insane miscasting, especially Rachel.

You left out the title Character from Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets – Dane DeHaan. He was completely miscast. He presents as a short little boy playing at manhood. I can think of a hundred more masculine actors, some of which are actually women, who would have been better cast in this role. Critics and audiences widely cited a lack of chemistry between leads Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne, with some critics also feeling DeHaan was miscast and came across as unlikeable. Written and directed by the great Luc Besson, who also directed The Fifth Element, the film is beautifully crafted with original sci fi concepts and gorgeous renderings of other worldly imagery. It's almost worth suffering through the wooden and childlike performance from DeHaan, but not quite. I'd put DeHaan's performance squarely in the top 10 of worst casting decisions.

Russell Crowe was fine as Javert. The 3 most awful castings that did ruin the film however were Anne Hathaway who simply has no musical presence or talent; Samantha Barks who doesn’t spark any sympathies with her utter lack of charisma; and worst of them all, Samantha Seyfried with her trembling chipmunk voice. Ugh.
Mickey Rooney is hilarious in Breakfast at Tiffany's. People are too sensitive these days. Watch a Mel Brooks movie sometime maybe and learn some sense of humour.
Oh and Kevin Costner as RH was great.

Gal Gadot was miscast in Snow White, but let's not even mention Rachel Zegler being arguably the worst casting blunder in movie history… Too funny.
