I love mystery movies, fave genre. Whodunnits included.

That said, knives out are trash and china town bores me to sleepy dive tried so many times I miss half of the middle every time.

It is almost criminal you mentionned the usa version of the girl with dragon tatto. The original version with Nomi Rapace is out of this world and 100 times better.

Nitpicking. When I guess who the "bad" guys and "good" guys are by the dinner conversations I'm set up to be less than impressed with "Knives Out".

Murder mystery movies I like that are not on this list: Vertigo, Body Heat, Blood Simple, The First Deadly Sin, Manhunter, Presumed Innocent, Suspect (1987), and True Believer (1989).

In what world is Knives Out higher than The Silence of the Lambs, L.A. Confidential, Seven, or even Scream? Also, where are Manhunter or The Vanishing??

The Last of Sheila should be in the top 10. The Maltese Falcon is worthy of being top of this list, but Knives Out? One of the most predictable 'mysteries' I've ever seen.

It would have been nice if you had listed them in your description with bookmarks like many similar channels do for the convenience of the viewers. Thank you

How is the Usual Suspects so low on the list – you even say it is 'widely considered one of the greatest mysteries of the 20th century'? And most of these are suspense movies which do not have any mystery to them. Rear Window, Silence of the Lambs – we either know the killer or could never guess it.

So glad you have The Last of Sheila on this list. I first saw it when I was 15, and have never forgotten it! After 50 years, I now watch it whenever I can, it's that good!!

Dark Passage with Bogart, Bacall, Agnes Moorehead.

Witness For The Prosecution with Dietrich, Tyrone Power, Elsa Lancaster, Charles Laughton. It's based on a stage play by Agatha Christie.

The Window. A B black and white movie from (I think) the 1940s. The boy in the film was the same actor who voiced Peter Pan by Disney. He was very good in this film.
