    Sony and Rockstar are the only big publishers that really make this kind of game. To a lesser extent, Capcom and Square. There are a few scattered developers who specialize in it though. KojimaProductions, Rocksteady, Crystal Dynamics, Remedy, Asobo, and now Sandfall Interactive.

    People begrudge these kinds of games for existing but, if you compare it to the amount of Metroidvania, Roguelike, action RPGs and Soulslike games we get, its a very underserved genre

    Yes, I really love the scales of, Ghost of Tsushima,God of War, Red Dead Redemption 1 & 2, Uncharted and The Last of Us.
    All of these franchise I named really do feel like a movie when you played them.
