I've always been a huge fan of humanoid robots, especially after I saw the 1973 movie West World. We now have the ability to build such life like androids which is just totally cool – unless one takes my job away from me that is… 😁

Halfway into the video. Why none of the companies / robotics included don't have a single word about safety and protection to the digital aspects when it comes to these humanoid robotics?
Just as we build PC's i think we can all agree we want some layer of protection i.e firewall that's pre-installed into windows OS.
I think it would be more than crucial for these companies to include mentions into these aspects.
I don't think anyone wants to wake up one day hearing that a hacker/group of hackers managed to get into the network/software/hardware system of these said robots and manipulated, tinkered them to do something harmful.
Sure it's nice to introduce a 30k+ robot or six figure robots with such agile performances and various of tasks that they can do, but cmon.

Engine, Unitree and Atlas look miles ahead of the others. Btw, couldn't this AI present each robot in the same frame of perspective? It sounds like 10 different self-promoting ads put together.

I, Robot is real, yet they can't make a tablet that doesn't get scratched buy just being still in a backpack.

you are a comically self important person 😂 you don’t need Girard to understand that a conflict between two parties without a global arbiter or government that has real clout will struggle to find resolution 😆😆😆

What's the point of showing them all if most of us if not all already know them and their abilities and saw their demonstration videos ETC? I don't like when Youtubers reuse the same known material all over again just to gain more views in the meantime until there's something actually interesting and new.

I dont know if it would be worth it, but maybe the solution to self driving cars could be a robot that was taught how to drive

Just realized that Atlas turning its head before stepping back into space it cannot see is a smart programming move to eliminate collisions with something like a person passing close behind it. Haven't seen others do that but it should be a standard.

I think people would find robots more approachable, if they were more like us… as in…. Make them short and dumpy… Give them a less svelt shape. … just saying.

2025 is officially the year humanoid robots stopped being science fiction and started becoming real tech you can track! Every new model feels like a step closer to a future where robots live and work among us.
