Are you happy or nervous about the possibility of Netflix owning these Warner Bros. franchises?

As an adorer of Netflix originals, how much my family loves Seinfeld and with Henry Sugar as a Wes Anderson admirer, I wouldn’t mind this; it may even dissolve my dissatisfaction with how Netflix typically lacks consistency as opposed to Prime Video, Apple TV and even Hulu.

Don't forget they'll also own Hanna-Barbera, Animaniacs, Cartoon Network, Rankin-Bass (post-Sept. 1974) and DC as a whole. And they'll also own the pre-May 1986 MGM library (not just Wizard of Oz, but also Tom and Jerry, Westworld, Poltergeist, Christmas Story, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, etc.)

The quality of Warner Bros's IPs are 2nd to none. I really need a smart person to explain to me how they bankrupted themselves with all these lucrative franchises

Considering that Zack Snyder's "Rebel Moon" is a Netflix original, I wonder if some of his other material, such as "300," "Legend of the Guardians" and even both "Man of Steel" and "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" would all appear on Netflix thanks to the WB merger.
And yes, all the Snyder fanatics would go absolutely bonkers.

The one thing that I’m really hoping for is on Netflix they will add every Cartoon Network and Hanna-Barbera cartoon on their platform since they made the foolish decision of removing it off of HBOMAX. Hopefully add shows like Ed, Edd, n Eddy and Close Enough on there

Well, considering how I don’t have HBO Max, now called Max, I’m actually happy that this happened. Netflix used to be THE streaming service for movies like WB, Disney, AND Marvel back in the 2010s. So, I’m glad that this deal is made, if it gets finalized. Heck, Godzilla: King of the Monsters is ON Netflix right now.

No-brainer that Netflix will stuff up a lot of IP's….but looking forward to the old WB stuff that will now be on there, like a previous user mentioned…

I mean, even if they didn't sell Netflix, Paramount would still buy film rights to have certain films on their streaming apps.

Warner Brothers is one of the best things on HBO Max and this sickens me because I can’t afford Netflix on top of other expenses
