Only problem is that it is all just fake CCP BS that channels like this promote. either paid for. or promote unwittinly, have a look at the real videos of these things, they are almost, just almost catching up to robotics of the 80s, if they look too good to be real, thay are not real, just like when they pay models to act like robots, and pretend they are robots, I could show you 500 videos of how bad they are.

These things are hilarious! They're a decade behind what freshman were building at MIT in the 2010's!!! Oh, never mind – 90% of this is AI generated footage.

China will continue to use these robots in real-world settings and improve them as the go.
Data sets and real-world experience will lead to improvements. With support and adaptation, robots will be here soon enough.

If yall are wondering if some of the bots are AI fake then search the models with a thing called Google I swear it's amazing you can even see the price of the bots 😯

edit: when in doubt make your own research instead of being lazy and whinning in the comments

If you're a low skilled worker, factory worker, or fast food worker. It's time to learn a skill/trade/craft. With robots going for under 20k, your jobs are going to be extinct in the next 5-10 years. A lot of you white-collar workers aren't going to be safe either. Intelligent programs are going to replace you aswell.

If you want to buy a bot never choose Chinese copies. It will break down quickly and you won't find spare parts. Their brains are so brainwashed by the dictatorship that it will even claim that Ramses II was Chinese. Buy the real original instead. Ask Russians what they think of the poor quality of Chinese cars. It's the same thing with Chinese robot.

The only one i am impressed with is from Xpeng Iron. But there is also another one that you may have skipped over and may turn out to be the top dog. That is Agibot. If the goal is to design and build robots with intelligent capability and can think autonomously for themselves, then these two companies will be at the top of my list for now.

Watch the Chinese robot marathon disaster to see how fake these marketing videos are. Imagine making a video like this and not verifying the official claims. This is PAID MARKETING. This is not informative, it's garbage.

Why did Unitree and Engine Ai not show up to the Robot Race (Beijing marathon) ?

Their videos demonstrate them to be the only companies that build humanoids that can run thus disappointing that they did not compete 🤷‍♂️

Unitree and EngineAI had the perfect opportunity to promote their humanoids – which they seem desperate to do – in a real-world demonstration on a made-to-order platform in the recent Beijing Half Marathon … but didn't.

The humanoid robot hoopla is embarrassing. It will be a long time if ever that these become viable much less useful. Ebodied AI like that last one !00% No doubt. It could even double as a Roomba. That's the future, not humanoid robots.
