I am surprised that you did not include The Thunderbolts on this list. It lost a lot of money and I was under the impression the Captain America 4 made more money than it.

Most of the movies on this list are just oscar grab movies so of course it will at least please the film critics as shown in rotten tomatoes rating. But just because critics like a movie doesn't mean movie audience would like it too. And also Disney have ruined many audience taste with their forced woke bullsh*t!!!

I think the economy + streaming is more to blame than anything else but you seem to put each failure on the individual movie. What performed well and is resonating?

For the record, just because they bombed doesn't mean that they were bad, except for Snow White. I wanted to see most of these movies when they came out, but sadly life got in the way & I forgot. I haven't been to a movie theater since April of 2025. 😟

It's not superhero fatigue, it's bad writing fatigue. Normal people don't care if AI takes over writing, because it feels like it already has.

I never heard of #10, #9, #7 The Stop Knights, #6 ,and #4 until today. 7:29 Well in all fairness Ethan Hunt has been around since 1996, that's 29 years of Impossible Missions, people have died and been born in that time, Children that were born during the first Mission are adults now. 8:35 He said The words of doom.12:54 Disney's True Folly did not come in with a bang unless you mean all the bad press, because it was DOA what with all the push backs and every Media Reviewer including me giving it our worst ratings and ⭐1/10 on IMDb. Despite Ediz from Ediz and Ben Dancing in The Background. Hence the Reason why it is #1 on this list. 13:02 According to Snow White Live at Radio City Music Hall, The Queen was from The Country of Chaitan (Shy Tan) Talk about Campy Acting, But Campy is better than this Garbage. 14:18 No because In The Immortal words of Gene Siskel Hollywood is Tired and Bloated.

People have access to almost everything made, all sitting online. It comes down to watching something new which might be OK or watching something on streaming which may be old but its considered a classic and its already paid for, there is so much content online you will find something you have not seen or can barely remember that has high ratings.

There is no way some random movie which comes out is going to be able to compete or you can be bothered risking having a bad experience when you have guaranteed good movie to watch in comfort at home.

And so many of this list had issues outside of the quality on screen, and people with so much choice are not going to support something or someone they don't agree with, actors share way way to much now. Of course most of them just sucked because Hollywood targets such a small audience because they think Hollywood is their audience which removes the greater audience they actually need.

So you need an event movie, studios like Marvel have built their whole business model around it, and as much as studios try and create them with all that nostalgia of insane profits, they don't happen very often and they don't have the ability or creative quality to create movies that appeal to enough people to get high numbers watching it.
