In a previous Aperture episode, we looked at the mental health effects of TikTok. But it seems as though the self-inflicted risks directly linked to the app are more far-reaching and have greater consequences than we could have ever imagined. From health and safety to privacy and security, given the long list of problems that TikTok seems to pose to the general public, what do we do? What can we do? Can we “fix” TikTok? Or should we just ban the app entirely?

    However we did do the pass out game back in the late nineties LOL and that was still dangerous regardless but spreading it on tiktok is definitely not a good way to revive an old game we used to play that literally has negative repercussions no matter what that's why the game is not played anymore by logical people😅😅

    People that think China is a threat compared to the particulars of addiction are pretty much a detriment do a useful conversation about getting anything done. The topic of China is 100% about getting control over the app not about changing any of its functionality

    No one talks about how Samsung allows apps to present ultimatums that Grant tremendous amount of access to data that is not needed for the app to operate. So the data security argument about tiktok is completely pointless because every other app is capable of having the same problem.

    The BinLade n latest tiktok scandal, just shows the dangers of tikto k. But trust the goverment to just censor the story. They don't care about you because if they did, tikto k wouldn't exist.

    As soon as most great artists/bands start living their fake celebrity li(v)es, with parties to compare who's got what, spreading BS gossip.

    Fame is never what they thought it would be (how many GREAT artists commit suicide when they know in their heart of hearts that glam, glitter and fame fades out so fast
    That's when they realize that their lives were no longer theirs

    When they signed that contract they sacrificed their lives, family and friends for the Contract with some record company who doesn't care about talent and letting the best artists do what they do best

    Well, I've always had a deep respect and I mean that most sincerely

    The band is just fantastic, that is really what I think

    Tiktok is BS there was some girl be bullied and i give comfort to her but the second I told I was handicapped, she blocked me make me feel be bullied as she had no problem until then, well that how it is I accepted no-one likes me, don´t go seek attention on this feeling sorry about yourself while be a bully yourself , people really show their true side on this, is not a place for weak-minded to be

    The U.S. Tiktok servers are completely separated from the Chinese government since years. The real reason the U.S. wants to ban Tiktok is completely different. I will male a documentary about it very soon if this post gets more than 1000 likes.

    Yall need to chill out with the TikTok bullshit. People need money to survive. The app is GREAT!! I use it almost daily and it helps me relax after a stressful day. I bless the creators a thousand times with lots of luck on the app, and hope to expand it even further, and people finally to learn it's NOT bad.

    Tik Tok is generalisation of simple self power global mass media experience .It is catering morals black and white both,but in the beginning it is white (useful in the sense)later on it will definitely end up with black and black.( dark and bitter in the sense)
