This is a thought experiment. It uses a hypothetical and oftentimes somewhat ridiculous situation to help get us to the core of a deeper philosophical or scientific question. This one being: Is there anything about you that’s irreplaceable? If some kind of computerized robot-clone were to replace your body, mind and memories, would that new you be enough to fool your parents, siblings, best friend or partner? Or would there be a vital, unseen, internal piece of you missing? Something that can’t be quantified physically.

0:19 I can dis proof it, because you told me clone with similar memory and experience, that tells you still have memory how you used to look like, where you used to live, it's expreiance, so there will be a mismatch if the clone not similar physical features with you, and if it has same physical features you are still you.😂

The XYZ water thought experiment is super dumb. If the water has the same effects and uses there, it is the same thing. Things are not defined EVER in themselves, but in relation to other things.

No, i have something special in swimming, where i can just gather all my emotions in to anger and get faster wich my coach has seen it’s mental that’s why its not replaceable, a way of thinking is not fully replaceable

So Ahem.. the barber is a"himself" and not a "themselves" and so is infact permitted to have a haircut by someone else <3 Shui

-hard mode edit: If the barber is only male allocated so everyone is a "himself". The barber can cut the hair of the man that is the barber as oppose to the barber that is himself.

    – X mode theory: He could cut the hair of the man that is his reflection without out ever laying eyes on his own physical hair once during the process, as his reflection cannot cut his own hair. The end result is the barbers hair cut. – Another edge to this is, it opens up a thought possibility now unlimited barbers and peoples hair are being cut at once during that process.

My answer to the first question is that the clone would be slightly different. It would need time to process the way I think because it is very hard to comprehend one's thought in their perspective, no matter how accurately close you are to understanding what they are saying or describing to you. To an artist, their painting has much more meaning to it than the mountain most people see in the background of it. This is because of their unique perception of reality versus the observer's perception. It varies from a slightly different to a very different way of viewing something or someone, so a cloned version of myself would only be slightly different, but the difference probably would not be as noticeable.

Don’t I break quantum entanglement t if I make the decision whether the cat is alive or not irreverent by just getting rid of the box not finding out, one way or another and making the next decision I feel is best myself. Basically taken any value the cat had is removed and replaced without thinking twice or even worried about it and tangling myself, or asking another human what to do and then tangling them, and basically setting in motion a series of events that are infinitely going to happen, no matter what, without phone regardless, if one thing affects another in someway or another and I’m making these decisions by flipping a coin.

If you don't divert the train then this person who started the train with broken brakes is culpable for the accident, not you. If we suppose that it is not true then the judicial system just stops being consistent and virtually everyone can be blamed for the death of everyone else because they did not prevent it. However if you divert the train you become responsible for the death of one person. So the right choice is obviously to not to divert the train

Would make you think about how each individual would go about if they could save thier families for a price that would make them hated atleast they would be safe.

Bruh ever since I first heard that “you died and were replaced”, I get existential anxiety because I actually can’t say for certain whether or not its true. Sometimes I wonder if it was better to not consider these type of things, at least for me personally.

My problem with the allegory of the cave is that the person who escaped the cave knows how things really are. I think the allegory would be more accurate when the person who escaped the cave came in another part of the cave which is a little bit lighter and have some other things that the first cave doesn't have. And than after some time he realizes that there is another part of the cave that has more different things in it and so on. In Plato's allegory there is this 'enlightened' person but in reality we are never really enlightened. We don't really know how things really are. Thanks to Scientific discoveries we have a better understanding how the world works and in social relations we are now more progressive. However, we can't say that we're that person who broke the chains and is now enlightened. We are now simply in the part of the cave that is closer to the outside i think. 💟
